In order to reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer, improve the early diagnosis of colorectal cancer, the investigators conducted this study to explore diagnostic accuracy of fecal immunochemical test in colorectal cancer screening population.
The study aimed to explore the independent risk factors for the metachronous colorectal adenoma after endoscopic resection, and construct the prediction model of metachronous colorectal adenoma, in order to provide theoretical basis for postoperative follow-up time of patients, and allocate limited medical resources.

Adenoma detection rate (ADR) has been the most important quality indicator on colonoscopy because ADR was reversely related with CRC incidence and mortality. Several image enhanced technologies, such as narrow-band imaging (NBI) or linked colour imaging (LCI) had been proved to have ability to increase the ADR. 3D techonology, however, has not been validated on colonoscopy performance. Therefore, current study was to compare the ADR between new 3D colonoscopy and conventional 2D colonoscopy.
The goal of this study is to assess whether using PTeye (AiBiomed, Santa Barbara, CA) - a NIRAF detection modality - can improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare associated costs after parathyroid surgeries. By being able to quickly and definitively locate parathyroid glands while in the operating room, the duration of surgical procedure could be further reduced. In addition, the number of frozen section biopsy and associated costs can be minimized. Furthermore, repeat surgeries as a result of missing a diseased parathyroid gland at the time of the initial parathyroidectomy for hyperparathyroidism could potentially be avoided.
The study aimed to analyze the risk factors of colorectal advanced adenoma and constructe a model to predict the high-risk individuals of harbouring colorectal advanced adenomas, so as to better identify screening participants and provide an important theoretical basis for the prevention of colorectal cancer.
At present there are no recommendations regarding the possibility of discontinuing treatment in cases of recurrent acromegaly with good hormonal control. The investigators aim to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of FIT and the novel panel of four bacterial gene markers collectively named as M3, to detect recurrent advanced adenomas in patients with history of colonic adenomas.
Colonoscopy is considered the gold standard for diagnosis of colonic polyps. However, it was reported that colonoscopy could still miss colonic polyps. Many attempts have been made to improve the detection rate of colonoscopy. Artificial intelligence (AI) is a promising new technique to improve detection rate of colonic adenoma. However, it remains uncertain whether whether the combined use of Endocuff and AI assisted examination could help to further improve the adenoma detection rate. This is a prospective randomized trial comparing the use of endocuff with AI, AI alone or conventional colonoscopy examination on adenoma detection rate.
