View clinical trials related to Adenocarcinoma.
Filter by:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of MLN0264 in previously treated Asian patients with Advanced Gastrointestinal (GI) Carcinoma (Phase 1) or Metastatic or Recurrent Gastric or Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma (Phase 2) Expressing Guanylyl Cyclase C (GCC).
Famitinib is a tyrosin-inhibitor agent targeting at c-Kit, VEGFR2, PDGFR, VEGFR3, Flt1 and Flt3, whose anti-tumor and anti-angiogenesis effects have been validated in preclinical tests. In PhaseⅡb study, a significantly improved Progression Free Survival (PFS) was found in patients with advanced colorectal cancer treated with Famitinib compared to placebo. On the other hand, the toxicity of Famitinib was manageable in both PhaseⅠand Ⅱb studies. The purpose of this study is to determine whether Famitinib can improve Overall Survival (OS) compared with placebo in total 540 patients with advanced colorectal cancer who have failed in previously received at least two lines of standard chemotherapy.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of ganetespib when given together with paclitaxel, carboplatin, and radiation therapy in treating patients with stage II-III esophageal cancer. Ganetespib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high-energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving ganetespib in combination with paclitaxel, carboplatin, and radiation therapy may be a better treatment for patients with esophageal cancer.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the combination of MM-121 plus docetaxel is more effective than docetaxel alone in regards to PFS in patients with heregulin-positive NSCLC.
The goal of this survey of international HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) surgeons is to determine their knowledge of and attitudes towards the nutritional support needs of HIPEC patients and what their practice patterns are with this patient population.
In this open-label, single-center, small sample size, randomised, parallel-group, controlled study, the investigators aim to assess efficacy and safety of addition of nimotuzumab to CS chemotherapy in patients with previously untreated advanced gastric adenocarcinoma. Sixty-two patients are required and randomly assigned (1:1) to each group. The control regimen (CS chemotherapy) is recommended as the standard first-line regimen for advanced adenocarcinoma of the stomach or gastroesophageal junction in japan.
This is a study for participants with advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma who have had tumor progression after first-line treatment with platinum and fluoropyrimidine doublet therapy. The primary study hypotheses are that pembrolizumab (MK-3475) prolongs progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) for participants with tumors that show positive programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression. As of 20-March-2016, enrollment will be limited to PD-L1 positive participants.
The purpose of this study is to isolate and measure circulating tumor cells in the blood stream to advance detection of cancer and treatment monitoring. In this study, the investigators will utilize the novel technology for circulating tumor cell detection in order to evaluate their presence in patients with lung cancer.
This randomized phase II trial studies how well lower-dose compared to standard dose regorafenib works in treating patients with colorectal cancer that has spread from the primary site (place where it started) to other places in the body and does not respond to treatment. Regorafenib may stop the growth of colorectal cancer by blocking the growth of new blood vessels necessary for tumor growth and by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. It is not yet known whether lower-dose or standard dose regorafenib is more effective in treating patients with colorectal cancer. Clobetasol propionate is a steroid cream that is commonly used to treat a variety of skin conditions and may help prevent hand-foot skin reactions in patients receiving regorafenib.
This is an exploratory Phase I study is to assess the safety and tolerability of the OXIRI regimen [oxaliplatin (O), xeloda (X) and irinotecan (I)] and to evaluate for preliminary evidence of efficacy, in patients with advanced and/or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The investigators hypothesize that 2 of 3 weekly doses of oxaliplatin and genotype directed-dosing of irinotecan in combination with chronomodulated capecitabine (xeloda) administered continuously will be more tolerable than the FOLFIRINOX regimen (folinic acid, fluorouracil, irinotecan and oxaliplatin) while maintaining anti-tumour activity.
