Filter by:The purpose of this study is to test any good and bad effects of the study drug called PEGPH20. PEGPH20 alone is considered investigational. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved the marketing or sale of PEGPH20, but have authorized its use in research studies with humans. PEGPH20 could shrink the cancer but it also can cause side effects. PEGPH20 is an enzyme that breaks down a specific tissue component called hyaluronan produced by some tumors. Pancreatic tumors often have a large amount of hyaluronan. The removal of hyaluronan from tumors may decrease tumor growth.
Phase II Study of Neo-adjuvant Chemoradiotherapy using infusional Gemcitabine followed by Surgery for Locally Advanced (T3 and T4 or Node positive) Rectal Adenocarcinoma.
This is a non-randomized, multi-site, open-label trial of pembrolizumab and chemotherapy in subjects with gastric or gastroesophageal (GE) junction adenocarcinoma. The purpose of this study is to determine and evaluate the efficacy of combination therapy with immune checkpoint blockade and chemotherapy used in the perioperative period in eradicating micrometastatic disease; and to compare paired tissue and serum samples (pre-treatment and post-treatment) from individually treated patients to explore the immune effects of combination therapy and predictors of response.
The purpose of this study is to preliminarily evaluate anti-tumor activity of a Recombinant Humanized Anti-PD-1 Monoclonal Antibody for Infusion (JS001) in treating advanced gastric adenocarcinoma, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and to determine the recommended phase II dose (RP2D)
This is a single arm phase II trial assessing the potential activity of combination PEGPH20 plus Gemcitabine with radiotherapy in ten patients with localized, unresectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
This pilot phase IIb trial studies how well pembrolizumab and CXCR4 antagonist BL-8040 work in treating patients with pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. CXCR4 antagonist BL-8040 may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving pembrolizumab and CXCR4 antagonist BL-8040 may work better in treating patients with pancreatic cancer.
This clinical trial adds high-dose ascorbate (vitamin C) to the standard of care regimen for metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a type of pancreatic cancer). Subjects are randomized between a control group (standard treatment) and an intervention group (pharmacologic ascorbate in addition to the standard treatment).
The purpose of this study was to combine the PDR001 checkpoint inhibitor with each of four agents with immunomodulatory activity to identify the doses and schedule for combination therapy and to preliminarily assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacological and clinical activity of these combinations.
Every year in France, 30.000 deaths are due to lung cancer and 39.500 new cases of this disease are diagnosed (INCa 2014). Patients suffering from locally advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), stage IIIa, usually undergo a multimodality treatment including chemotherapy with platinum compounds before surgery (called neoadjuvant chemotherapy or induction chemotherapy). The reason of this combined modality treatment is the really poor prognosis of patients presenting a disease already spread to lymph nodes (classified N2 when the lymph node under the carina is affected). Up till now, the five-year survival of patients who underwent surgical resection of N2 NSCLC does not exceed 15%
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of olaparib and onalespib when given together in treating patients with solid tumors that have spread to other places in the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable) or ovarian, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, or triple-negative breast cancer that has come back (recurrent). Olaparib and onalespib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
