NCT ID: NCT01667393 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Peripheral Vascular Disease

Popliteal Artery of Treatment With Balloon Angioplasty vs. SUPERA VERITAS Peripheral Stent System

PARADIGM
Start date: January 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Unblinded, randomized, balanced trial comparing 12 month target lesion patency rates of the IDEV SUPERA VERITAS peripheral stent system to PTA in the treatment of obstructive atherosclerotic popliteal artery disease.

NCT ID: NCT01666236 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Choroidal Neovascularization

Triple Treatment for Detachment of Retinal Pigment Epithelium Secondary to Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy

Start date: September 2012
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Study the effectiveness of the treatment detachment of retinal pigment epithelium secondary to polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy. Efficacy will be assessed by regression of polyp area after twelve months, compared to baseline. Treatment under study is a triple therapy with: 1) reduced-fluence photodynamic therapy (PDT), 2) intravitreal (IVT) triamcinolone and, 3) IVT ranibizumab, for the treatment of detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium (PED) secondary to Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy (PCV).

NCT ID: NCT01663818 Completed - Clinical trials for Peripheral Vascular Disease

Tack Optimized Balloon Angioplasty (TOBA) Study

TOBA
Start date: August 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A multi-center, post-CE Mark study designed to evaluate the performance of the Intact Vascular Tack-IT Endovascular Staplerâ„¢ in subjects with vascular flaps (e.g.; post-angioplasty dissection) resulting from percutaneous transluminal balloon angioplasty (PTA) of superficial femoral or popliteal artery(ies).

NCT ID: NCT01661231 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Peripheral Artery Disease

Study to Determine the Performance of the Astron and Pulsar-18 Stents in Europe

BIOFLEX-I EU
Start date: October 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

BIOFLEX-I EU is the European arm of the BIOFLEX-I IDE study (NCT01319812). Data from BIOFLEX-I EU will be pooled with data in the IDE. The objective of this study is to separately demonstrate the clinical performance of BIOTRONIK's Astron and Pulsar-18 stents in the European arm of the BIOFLEX-I IDE (NCT01319812). The Pulsar-18 stent will be used for the treatment of femoro-popliteal lesions, located in the native superficial femoral artery (SFA) or proximal popliteal artery (PPA), while the Astron stent will be used for the treatment of the common or external iliac artery lesions.

NCT ID: NCT01658540 Completed - Clinical trials for Peripheral Artery Disease

Drug Eluting Balloon (DEB) and Long Lesions of Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA) Ischemic Vascular Disease

DEB-SFA-LONG
Start date: October 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The primary purpose of this study is to assess safety and efficacy of the Drug Eluting Balloon (DEB) technology for the treatment of the Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA) ischemic obstructive vascular disease in patients presenting with long lesions. As secondary aim this study is going to explore treatment effect on a number of procedural and clinical endpoints in order to collect information to design a future comparative effectiveness study.

NCT ID: NCT01642680 Completed - Metabolic Syndrome Clinical Trials

Optimal Timing of Physical Activity in Cancer Treatment

ACT
Start date: January 24, 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The number of long-term cancer survivors is growing. As a result, treatment-related morbidity - such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, functional decline and fatigue - is impacting quality of life and impairing survival. Metabolic syndrome in the general population is currently treated with lifestyle advice to increase physical activity (PA) and reduce caloric intake. This approach is still underused as standard care for cancer survivors. The aim of this study is investigate whether a tailored PA program that starts early (during curative chemotherapy with cardiovascular toxic potential) is superior in terms of reducing long-term cancer-treatment-related metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular morbidity to a program that starts late (after completion of chemotherapy).

NCT ID: NCT01608035 Completed - Chronic Pain Clinical Trials

Sciatic Perineural Versus Stump Catheter for Below Knee Amputation

Start date: September 2012
Phase: Phase 0
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to determine if pre-operative placement of the continuous peripheral nerve block by an anesthesiologist using ultrasound technology is more effective than a continuous peripheral nerve block placed during the surgery by a surgeon for patients undergoing a limb amputation

NCT ID: NCT01587053 Terminated - Clinical trials for Cardio-vascular Diseases

Anti Vitamin K Therapeutic Education

Start date: April 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to measure the INR (International Normalized Ratio) time percentage in the target zone (TTR: time in therapeutic range) of children benefiting from the AVK therapeutic education program.

NCT ID: NCT01583608 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

ABSORB: Postmarketing Surveillance Registry to Monitor the Everolimus-eluting Bioresorbable Vascular Scaffold in Patients With Coronary Artery Disease

ASSURE
Start date: April 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The registry aims to evaluate the safety, performance and efficacy of the Everolimus-eluting bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS) system in patients with de novo native coronary artery lesions in all-day clinical practice.

NCT ID: NCT01577888 Completed - Vascular Disease Clinical Trials

Safety and Feasibility Study of the Shockwave Lithoplasty System

Start date: August 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To study the early safety and performance of the Shockwave Medical System in subjects to demonstrate that the device can safely and effectively deliver localized energy for the treatment of vascular disease.
