Filter by:This study is a multicenter, prospective, observational study, aiming to enroll 400 patients with peripheral arterial disease in the femoral-popliteal segment implanted with Eluvia stent. Each patient was followed up for 2 years. The technical success rate, target lesion patency rate, quality of life improvement, cost of Eluvia stent implantation, and other outcomes will be analysed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Delay Alternating with Nutation for Tailored Excitation (DANTE) SPACE sequence in clinical studies to determine whether it can provide more useful information for clinical diagnosis. Participants: 100 participants with concern for intracranial vascular disease scheduled to undergo a clinical vessel wall MRI will be recruited. Procedures (methods): Patients with concern for intracranial vascular disease scheduled to undergo a clinical vessel wall MRI who will have an additional non-FDA approved sequence (DANTE SPACE) added to their clinical scan. The investigational sequence requires less than 15 minutes and will be added following the standard MRI sequence.
The objective of this post-market clinical study is to obtain additional data on the safety and performance of the All'InCath 035M Balloon Dilatation Catheter when used per its Instructions for Use (IFU) during percutaneous transluminal angioplasty procedures in clinical practice.
Coronary allograft vasculopathy represents one of the major limiting factors of long-term survival in heart transplant recipients. While extensively researched, the underlying mechanisms of coronary allograft vasculopathy (CAV) after heart transplantation remain incompletely understood. As CD34+ cells represent one of the key determinants of coronary vascular homeostasis we investigated the potential association between CAV and CD34+ cell count in heart transplant recipients.
This aim of this study is the evaluation of the gut microbiota imbalance occurrence and its characterization in patients with common variable immunodeficiency associated to an enteropathy with or without porto-sinusoidal vascular disease.
This experimental study is to verify a possible correlation between vascular disease, and anthropometric, and psychosocial measurements. Consecutive patients with vascular diseases (Chronic Venous Disease, Carotid Stenosis, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Peripheral Artery Disease) will be referred to Vascular Surgery Units of two hospitals linked to Interuniversity Center of Phlebolymphology (CIFL) International Research and Educational Program in Clinical and Experimental Biotechnology (Mater Domini University Hospital of Catanzaro and the Federico II University Hospital of Naples) to be evaluated. Since it is necessary to study the anthropometric measures and the psychosocial aspects, different types of measurements will be carried out in order to correlate them with the aforementioned vascular disease.
This randomised controlled trial aims to determine the efficacy of a 12-week, smartphone-based Prosocial-orientated Acceptance and Commitment Training (PACT) programme plus age-appropriate positive parenting advice on the psychological flexibility, prosociality, parenting competence and family functioning with parents of children with special health care needs as well as the mental well-being of parent-child dyads over 12 months follow-up.
To evaluate the effectiveness of the VSX device in pre-determined patient populations to understand the patient characteristics that impact outcomes.
A randomized, controlled trial to evaluate patient compliance and biologic mechanisms of a short-term pre-operative Protein-Calorie Restriction (PCR) diet in comparison to a normal ad libitum diet for 4 days before elective vascular surgery involving a major operation. After a pilot study exploring the safety and feasibility of the PCR diet conducted inpatient before carotid endarterectomy titled Short-Term Endogenous Hydrogen Sulfide Upregulation, and a follow-up study titled Dietary Restriction in Vascular Surgery, the investigators now aim to expand the study to at home diet among a variety of vascular surgery procedures. This study will further elucidate not only the practicality of pre-operative short term dietary restriction, but also provide early data to inform biologic mechanisms and to inform future efficacy trails.
The purpose of this study is to determine how vaping affects blood vessels, in particular if early damage occurs in the lung vessels.
