Filter by:This is a retrospective cohort study of patients with T2DM who were treated with exenatide twice daily as a part of their diabetes care for at least 12 months. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of T2DM susceptibility gene polymorphisms (NOS1AP, KCNQ1, TCF7L2, WSF1, GLP-1R, etc.) on the efficacy of GLP-1 RA (exenatide, liraglutide, etc.), to identify the variables that can predict the efficacy of GLP-1 RA, and to evaluate the weight of these variables on the efficacy.

As the proportion of the elderly population increases, so does the number of people suffering from diabetes mellitus (DM). Fatigue is common in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, and malnutrition may lead to a decrease in muscle strength, thereby aggravating their fatigue symptoms; however, there is still a lack of relevant research on this group in Taiwan. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to understand the current status and correlation of basic attributes, nutritional status, handgrip strength and fatigue in hospitalized older adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
The purpose of this project is to increase access to diabetes care and education for adults aged 40-64 years old who are diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and are unable to attend education and support classes due to their work situation. This project will use an established, well-known program for Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) and combine it with Tai Chi Easy (TCE)™ to enhance physical health, psychological health, and health behaviors. Participants will be asked to attend 45 minutes of DSMES and 45 min of TCE twice a week for 6 weeks. All classes will be recorded and available online and can viewed at a time when it is most convenient to accommodate working adults. Participants will be asked to complete survey questionnaires online, at the beginning and end of the program; and have a smart phone to connect with a smart ring during the 6-week DSMES+TCE program. After the program is done, participants will be asked to return the smart ring. Upon receipt of the smart ring, they will receive a give a gift card to thank them for their participation in the program.

The main purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of a single dose of LY3938577 in healthy participants and participants with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) (Part A) and multiple doses of LY3938577 in participants with T2DM (Part B). The study will last approximately 6 weeks for Part A and approximately 10 weeks for Part B respectively.
This is a prospective, randomized, open label, parallel,6-month study to explore and evaluate the therapeutic effects of Henagliflozin on the cognitive function, olfactory function, and odor-induced brain activation in T2DM patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. The study will be done in participants who have type 2 diabetes. Participants will take the study medicine together with the current diabetes medicine (metformin with or without an SGLT2 inhibitor).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a grocery prescription program in adults diagnosed with either Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus or Hypertension. Participants will enroll in Instacart Fresh Funds program. Once enrolled each week participants will select foods that are eligible in the Fresh Funds Program to be delivered to their home for 12 weeks. Participants will also participate in a survey at the beginning of the study and at the end of the study.
