The primary objectives of this study are to explore the therapeutic effect of eluxadoline in treating irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) in pediatric participants 6-17 years of age, to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of eluxadoline in pediatric participants with IBS-D, and to evaluate the safety and tolerability of eluxadoline in pediatric participants with IBS-D. Enrollment of 12-17 years old age group is closed, enrollment of the 6-11 years old age group will continue.

Autonomic Modulation in Takotsubo Syndrome

This is a minimal risk case-controlled single arm intervention study, including 10 patients with a prior history of takotsubo and 10-age and sex matched healthy controls. Subjects will undergo in laboratory testing to measure autonomic function. They will then undergo a 15-week program of device-guided breathing with remote measures of autonomic function obtained at home. Analysis will determine the reproducibility of home autonomic measures and the provide preliminary data to determine the efficacy of device-guided breathing on autonomic measures and quality of life in patients with takotsubo.

The proposed study is a cross-sectional study based participant survey conducted in 4 hospitals in Beijing, China. After obtaining informed consent, a total of 2000 study patients will be recruited on-site in hospitals.

Efficacy of Rituximab in Comparison to Continued Corticosteroid Treatment in Idiopathic Nephrotic Syndrome

This will be an open-label, randomized controlled trial which compares continued treatment with high dose prednisone (standard therapy) to treatment with rituximab in patients with minimal change disease or focal segmental glomerulosclerosis unresponsive to 8 weeks of high dose prednisone . patients either receive 2 doses of Rituximab 375 mg/m2 iv at time 0 and 14 days with termination of prednisone or standard therapy which consist of 8 additional weeks of high dose prednisone treatment.
