NCT ID: NCT04465669 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Heterogeneity of Neointimal Healing Following Biodegradable-polymer Drug-Eluting Coronary Stent Implantation

Healing
Start date: January 13, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is a comparative evaluation of Orsiro stent and of Resolute Integrity stent in terms of the extent of neointima formation at 4 months after implantation using optical coherence tomography (OCT).

NCT ID: NCT03341663 Completed - Clinical trials for Stable Angina Pectoris

The Diagnostic Value of Acupoint Sensitization Based on Stable Angina Pectoris

Start date: December 6, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Investigators adopt cross-sectional study design to carry out the exemplary research in the aspects of disease diagnosis. This study is designed to confirm the hypothesis "acupoint sensitization is associated with a severity of angina pectoris, which may contribute to the diagnosis of stable angina pectoris". After the eligible participants recruited in group, the coronary artery lesions will be evaluated through coronary angiography and the Canadian Cardiovascular Society(CCS) angina pectoris classification will also be evaluated at the same time. The degree of acupoint sensitization will be tested by the electronic Von Frey instrument by one professional acupuncturist with total 12 acupoints, including Shenmen,Yinxi, Shaohao,Jiquan,Neiguan, Ximen, Quze, Shanzhong, Juque, Jueyinyu, Xinyu, Duyu. Analysis were conducted to explore relationships between the degree of acupoint sensitization, the degree of coronary artery stenosis and CCS angina pectoris classification. Diagnostic value will be further analyzed in the final step.

NCT ID: NCT02747329 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

A Comparative Evaluation of the Extent of Neointima Formation at 1 Month and 2 Months After Implantation Using OCT

Start date: June 15, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is a comparative evaluation of BuMA Supremeā„¢ stent and of Xience V/Prime stent in terms of the extent of neointima formation at 1 or 2 months after implanting in relatively high bleeding risk patients with coronary artery disease using OCT.

NCT ID: NCT02547597 Completed - Clinical trials for Stable Angina Pectoris

Comparison of Carvedilol and Atenolol on Anti-anginal and Metabolic Effects in Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris

Start date: April 2011
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

There are few data regarding anti-anginal effects between beta-blockers with and without vasodilating property. Beta-blocker without vasodilating property is generally known to have unfavorable effects on glucose and lipid metabolism. Therefore, the investigators compared carvedilol and atenolol on anti-anginal and metabolic effects in patient with stable angina pectoris.

NCT ID: NCT02339454 Completed - Clinical trials for Stable Angina Pectoris

Efficacy of Extracorporeal Shockwave Myocardial Revascularization Therapy in Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris

Start date: May 2012
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Low intensity shockwaves have been proven in animal and pilot clinical studies to induce local growth of new blood vessels. Small single-center clinical trials with shockwave therapy showed promising results in reducing angina symptoms, improving perfusion and contractility in patients with refractory angina and stress-induced ischemia on imaging test. The hypothesis of this study is that shockwave therapy could improve angina symptoms and exercise tolerance in broader population of patients with stable angina regardless of imaging test results Study aims to demonstrate anti-anginal efficacy of Extracorporeal Shockwave Myocardial Revascularization Therapy (ESMR), on top of stable optimal medical treatment in patients with stable angina.

NCT ID: NCT02294942 Completed - Clinical trials for Stable Angina Pectoris

Extended-Release RANCAD in the Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris

Start date: October 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel study to evaluate the effects of add-on RANCAD on exercise tolerance and angina frequency in patients with stable angina pectoris.

NCT ID: NCT02291484 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Comprehensive Cardiac CT Versus Exercise Testing in Suspected Coronary Artery Disease (2)

CRESCENT2
Start date: August 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Multi-center, randomized-controlled trial comparing a comprehensive cardiac CT protocol with standard stress testing in patients with stable chest pain complaints.

NCT ID: NCT02176174 Completed - Stroke Clinical Trials

Ethnicity and Onset of Cardiovascular Disease: A CALIBER Study

Start date: December 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Specific cardiovascular diseases, such as stroke and heart attack, have been shown to vary by ethnic group. However, less is known about differences between ethnic groups and a wider range of cardiovascular diseases. This study will examine differences between ethnic groups (White, Black, South Asian and Mixed/Other) and first lifetime presentation of twelve different cardiovascular diseases. This information may help to predict the onset of cardiovascular diseases and inform disease prevention strategies. The hypothesis is that different ethnic groups have differing associations with the range of cardiovascular diseases studied.

NCT ID: NCT02029118 Completed - Clinical trials for Stable Angina Pectoris

Acupoint Application in Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris (AASAP)

AASAP
Start date: October 2012
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Hypothesis: acupoint application is effective for managing chronic stable angina pectoris. Aim: to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupoint application on the specific acupoints for chronic stable angina pectoris. Design: A Randomized, Controlled,Double Blind trial. 200 participants will be included. Four arms: herbal medicine application on acupoint group , placebo application on acupoint group , herbal medicine application on non-acupoint group and placebo application on non-acupoint group.

NCT ID: NCT01752582 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

BuMA OCT Study(A Comparative Evaluation of the Extent of Neointima Formation at 3 Months After Implantation Using OCT)

Start date: December 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is a comparative evaluation of BuMA stent and of EXCEL stent in terms of the extent of neointima formation at 3 months after implantation using OCT. This is a prospective, single center, randomized, open-label, non-inferiority study, which will enroll a total of 70 patients in Fuwai Hospital. All patients will be randomly assigned undergoing implantation of BuMA stent or EXCEL stent (in a 1:1 ratio). If non-inferiority was met, superiority test will be planned.
