The purpose of this 32 week study is to use an innovative experimental design known as SMART (Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trial), which will allow us to determine the best way to sequence the delivery of teleexercise (referred to as an adaptive intervention), combined with predictive analytics on participant adherence in a stepped program of physical activity interventions. All 257 participants will have access to a library of recorded video exercise content, and a weekly wellness article. Some participants will receive health coaching calls (1st randomization). Analytic data will be used to determine which participants are responding or not responding to the intervention. Participants not responding after 4 weeks will receive either live one on one or group exercise training (2nd randomization). After 8 weeks, the participant will receive only pre recorded exercise content and articles for another 8 weeks. After final surveys, participants will have open access to the website for another 16 weeks where we will passively observe their fitbit and website data. The PainSMART Research Program: Evaluating a Pain Education Strategy for Patients Seeking Primary Care Physiotherapy

The goal of this clinical trial is to test the PainSMART-strategy in a population of patients seeking primary care physiotherapy for pain related to muscles, joints and bones, so called musculoskeletal pain. The PainSMART-strategy consists of a digital educational film (entitled Be PainSMART:er) and a discussion based on the film at the initial physiotherapy consultation. The main questions this clinical trial aims to answer are: 1. Can the PainSMART-strategy update knowledge and beliefs about pain and aid early stage self-management of pain for participants seeking primary care physiotherapy with benign musculoskeletal pain? 2. Can the PainSMART-strategy improve evaluations of the initial physiotherapy consultation for both the patient and physiotherapist? Participating patients will be randomised into two groups. One group (intervention group) will receive the PainSMART-strategy as an adjunct to the current physiotherapy care pathway for musculoskeletal pain. The other group (control group) will follow the current physiotherapy care pathway. The two groups will be followed and compared over three months. Self-report questionnaires will be collected during the three-month period to analyse what effects the PainSMART-strategy can have on the following health outcomes: - Pain levels - Beliefs that one can remain active despite pain - Knowledge about pain - Worry about the seriousness of the pain - Expectations regarding recovery - Use of pain self-management strategies - Levels of physical activity - Absence from work due to pain - Number of referrals made for scans or x-rays, or to a specialist, for pain - Number of healthcare visits for pain during the trial period. Participating patients (both groups) and physiotherapists will also complete questionnaires to evaluate the effect of the PainSMART-strategy on the initial physiotherapy consultation.

Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), impose a significant burden on patients and healthcare systems due to their chronic nature and complex treatment. This study aims to assess the effectiveness and safety of on-demand telemonitoring, as opposed to standard fixed-schedule telemonitoring, in managing IBD. The primary objective is to evaluate the impact of on-demand telemonitoring on the number of persistent flares over 12 months. The study involves a multicenter randomized controlled trial comparing standard telemonitoring, which includes regular completion of the Monitor IBD At Home questionnaire and fecal calprotectin home tests, with on-demand telemonitoring where patients use the app based on their symptoms. The study population includes adult patients with stable remission on maintenance therapy. Disease activity, measured by unplanned healthcare contacts, is the primary outcome, while secondary outcomes encompass clinical and patient-reported disease activity, quality of life, self-efficacy, patient activation, total healthcare contacts, safety, and costs. Baseline characteristics include patient, disease, and socio-demographic factors. This innovative approach has the potential to enhance patient autonomy, satisfaction, and self-management, while reducing the overall burden on the healthcare system.

This study was assessed the impact of a web-based education program provided to mothers of infants with congenital heart diseases on their quality of life and self-efficacy levels. The study is a mixed-method approach with a qualitative and pre-test post-test design, utilizing randomized controlled quasiexperimental type. The research was conducted with mothers of infants diagnosed with congenital heart disease who sought care at the Pediatric Cardiology Outpatient Clinic of a university hospital and were followed up. There are two groups in the study. Web-based education was provided to mothers in the intervention group (n=30). No intervention was applied to the mothers in the control group (n=30) other than the outpatient clinic routine of the hospital.

INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF SOLUTION-FOCUSED APPROACH TRAINING ON TRAUMATIC BIRTH PERCEPTION, VAGINAL BIRTH SELF-EFFICACY AND BIRTH TYPE PREFERENCE.

Women's psycho-social health during pregnancy could influence the course of pregnancy, psychological and emotional life, not only in labor but also during the postpartum period. Women's perception of birth and their self-efficacy may affect the birth and postpartum period, and their delivery preference. The study aims to examine the effect of solution-oriented approach training on traumatic birth perception, vaginal birth selfefficacy, and delivery preference. It was designed in a randomized controlled experimental type. The sample in the study will comprise 80 pregnant women (40 experimental and 40 control groups) with the help of power analysis. The study is going to be conducted with pregnant women applying to KTU Farabi Hospital between May and December 2022. 6-8 sessions of solution-oriented approach training will be given to pregnant women with 28 weeks of gestation and above and willing to take part in the study, and their delivery preferences will be examined, afterward. The pregnant women in the control group, on the other hand, will not be subjected to any training or interview other than routine pregnancy follow-ups. Data will be gathered through the Pregnant introductory information form, traumatic birth perception scale form, and vaginal birth self-efficacy form. Ethics Committee Permission, institutional permission from the institution where the research will be conducted, and written informed consent from the mothers will be obtained before the research. The data will be statistically evaluated through the SPSS 23 program. Student t-test or Mann-Whitney U tests will be applied for two independent groups. One A Way or Kruskal-Wallis tests will be applied for three or more independent groups, depending on whether the data meet the parametric conditions. Paired T or Wilcoxon tests will be used for two dependent groups, and Friedman or Repeat Measure tests will be applied for three or more groups. In statistical evaluation, p<0.05 will be considered significant.

This "SeApp" study aims to test a self-efficacy Ecological Momentary Intervention (EMI) in healthy students in the context of COVID-19. EMIs are mostly smartphone-based applications that deliver interventions to people while being engaged in their daily life activities. The app harnesses the power of self-efficacy autobiographical memories (e.g. problem-solving memories, memories of success). Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMAs) are also incorporated into the study to capture individuals' feelings, affect, and behavior in real time.
