NCT ID: NCT03310905 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Transplant;Failure,Kidney

Abdominal Wall Transplant

Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this protocol is to determine the safety and efficacy of abdominal wall transplantation as a treatment for the reconstruction of abdominal wall defects. Abdominal wall transplantation may be performed alone or in combination with another transplant.

NCT ID: NCT03310463 Completed - Clinical trials for Acinetobacter Baumannii Infection

Evaluation of the Pharmacokinetics, Safety, and Tolerability of Intravenous ETX2514 and Sulbactam Administered Concurrently to Subjects With Various Degrees of Renal Impairment and Healthy Matched Control Subjects

Start date: October 3, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This research project is being conducted to look at the pharmacokinetics (PK; how the human body processes a substance), safety, and tolerability of a single dose of ETX2514 and sulbactam (ETX2514SUL) when concurrently administered by separate intravenous (IV) infusion in participants with various degrees of renal impairment (RI), in participants with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who are on hemodialysis (HD), and in healthy matched control participants with normal renal function.

NCT ID: NCT03302091 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

A Study in People With Normal Kidney Function and People With Reduced Kidney Function to Test How BI 1467335 is Processed in the Body

Start date: October 17, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the current study is to investigate the influence of moderate renal impairment on the pharmacokinetics of multiple doses in comparison to a matched control group with normal renal function.

NCT ID: NCT03296787 Completed - Healthy Volunteers Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Effect of Renal Impairment and Dialysis Treatment on the Pharmacokinetics (PK) of a Single Intravenous (IV) TAK-954

Start date: November 21, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of varying degrees of renal function on the PK of TAK-954 following single-dose IV administration and to investigate the impact of hemodialysis on the PK of single IV doses of TAK-954.

NCT ID: NCT03289520 Completed - Kidney Failure Clinical Trials

Clopidogrel Prevention of Early Arteriovenous (AV) Fistula Thrombosis

FISTULA
Start date: January 7, 2003
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of the study is to determine whether clopidogrel reduces the early failure rate of native AV fistulae. This study was originally registered as NCT00067119 which included two protocols, this one and the GRAFT study)

NCT ID: NCT03289208 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

Pharmacokinetics Study of MCI-186 in Subjects With Mild or Moderate Renal Impairment

Start date: October 27, 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To assess the pharmacokinetics of MCI-186 after a single intravenous infusion of 30mg/hour in subjects with mild or moderate renal impairment compared to subjects with normal renal function.

NCT ID: NCT03284164 Completed - Renal Impairment Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Effect of Renal Impairment on the PK of Tenofovir Exalidex

Start date: September 28, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1 study to investigate the effects of Renal Impairment on the pharmacokinetics of Tenofovir exalidex

NCT ID: NCT03280615 Completed - Clinical trials for Renal Insufficiency, Chronic

Omega 3 Fatty Acids in Patients With Chronic Renal Disease

Start date: September 20, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To study the tolerance and efficacy of an omega 3 fatty acids supplement on renal and vascular function and inflammatory parameters in patients with chronic renal disease

NCT ID: NCT03277547 Active, not recruiting - Sickle Cell Disease Clinical Trials

Kidney Function in Sickle Cell Anemia

Start date: November 17, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a prospective clinical cohort study that involves a baseline study visit followed by up to 3 annual follow-up study visits for a total follow-up of 36-48 months to evaluate the age- and sex-adjusted rate of change in kidney function, and to identify biomarkers of endothelial function, metabolomic profiles and clinical characteristics for the worsening of kidney function and for a rapid decline in kidney function. "Funding Source - FDA OOPD"

NCT ID: NCT03276273 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Renal Failure Acute Chronic

Bispectral-Electroencephalography (EEG) in First Time Hemodialysis

BIS7
Start date: May 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The severity of minimal dialysis disequilibrium syndrome (DDS) is currently detected and graded clinically using clinical criteria. Bispectral Index (BIS), an electroencephalographic (EEG) derived parameter is widely used in anesthesia and Critical Care setting to detect effects of anesthetic/hypnotic drugs. The aim of our study was to assess the discriminative power of BIS monitoring to accurately detect DDS.
