NCT ID: NCT03062475 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM)

Lifestyle Intervention to Prevent the Recurrence of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Start date: May 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) is a commom complication during pregnancy and associated with various adverse pregnancy outcomes for both the mother and her offspring. Imoportantly, with the gradual opening of a two-child policy, more and more Chinese women of reproductive age enter pregnancy have a history of GDM. Our previous study showed that regular exercise commenced in early pregnancy is effective in reducing the risk of developing GDM in Chinese overweight and obese pregant women. Thus, in this study, we want to evaluate the effect of lifestyle intervention with detailed information on how to eat and how to diet in preventing the recurrence of GDM.

NCT ID: NCT03062059 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Urothelial Carcinoma

The Effectiveness and Safety of Intravesical Gemcitabine Instillation to Prevent Intravesical Recurrence

Start date: March 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of intravesical gemcitabine instillation during operation to prevent intravesical recurrence after radical nephroureterectomy in upper urinary tract urothelial carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT03049020 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pelvic Organ Prolapse Recurrence

The Efficacy of Laparoscopic Sacrocolpopexy in the Treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse in Women With or Without Avulsion of the Levator Ani Muscle

Start date: October 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Based on a prospective study, to evaluate how pre-operative pelvic floor status - the presence of injury to the musculus levator ani - may influence the results of laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy. The investigators hope to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that the presence of such injury increases the risk of post-operative prolapse recurrence

NCT ID: NCT03030157 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Intravesical Instillation

Single Versus Long-term Intravesical Instillation Chemotherapy for Recurrence After Nephroureterectomy for Upper Tract Urothelial Carcinoma

Start date: January 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Up to 30-40% of the patients may develop bladder recurrance after radical nephroureterectomy for primary upper tract urothelial carcinoma. Bladder tumor needs transurethral resection, which is associated with costs of treatment and potential poor prognosis. Although several randomized controlled trial have shown that prophylactic intravesical chemotherapy could prevent bladder tumor recurrence, the optimal schedule and duration of treatment are unkown. The investigators want to determine the efficiacy of single instillation versus long-term intravesical instillation of pirarubicin for bladder recurrence after radical nephrouretectomy for primary upper tract urothelial carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT03026062 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Carcinoma

Durvalumab and Tremelimumab in Treating Participants With Recurrent or Refractory Ovarian, Primary Peritoneal, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Start date: May 18, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well durvalumab and tremelimumab work in treating participants with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has come back or does not respond to treatment. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab and tremelimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether give durvalumab and tremelimumab in combination or sequential administration works better in treating participants with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03024684 Recruiting - Clinical trials for HepatoCellular Carcinoma

Statin for Preventing Hepatocellular Carcinoma Recurrence After Curative Treatment

SHOT
Start date: January 3, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether statin could prevent recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma after curative treatment

NCT ID: NCT03017820 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndrome

VSV-hIFNbeta-NIS in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma, Acute Myeloid Leukemia or Lymphoma

Start date: April 4, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the best dose and side effects of recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus carrying the human NIS and IFN beta genes (VSV-hIFNbeta-sodium iodide symporter [NIS]) with or without cyclophosphamide or ipilimumab and nivolumab or cemiplimab in treating patients with multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or lymphoma that has come back or does not respond to treatment. A virus, called VSV-hIFNbeta-NIS, which has been changed in a certain way, may be able to kill cancer cells without damaging normal cells. Cyclophosphamide is in a class of medications called alkylating agents. It works by damaging the cell's DNA and may kill cancer cells. It may also lower the body's immune response. Immunotherapy with ipilmumab and nivolumab or cemiplimab may induce changes in body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving VSV-hIFNbeta-NIS and ruxolitinib phosphate may work better at treating multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia and T-cell lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT03013868 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Circulating Tumor Cells, CTC

CTCs and Novel Target Bio-marker Analysis for Prediction and Monitoring of Metastasis/Recurrence in Post-surgery Colorectal Cancer Patients Using MiSelect R Rare Cell System

Start date: October 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Despite the growing public awareness and recent progress in multimodality therapy to the colorectal cancer (CRC), CRC still ranks high on the list of the most common and deadly cancers in Taiwan. The cause of CRC mortality is due mainly to the occurrence of distant metastasis. Several reports suggested that circulating tumor cells (CTCs) highly associated with metastasis suggesting that targeting CTCs may offer an unprecedented opportunity to prevent the development of metastasis. Early detection and characterization of CTCs is therefore important as a potential strategy to monitor the progression of CRC. The current proposal is focused on detecting CTCs from peripheral blood of CRC patients using Miselect R system. We will monitor the amount of CTCs and correlate with CRC progression and prognosis.

NCT ID: NCT03011814 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Cutaneous T-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Durvalumab With or Without Lenalidomide in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Cutaneous or Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma

Start date: March 8, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This randomized phase I/II trial studies the best dose and side effects of durvalumab and to see how well it works with or without lenalidomide in treating patients with cutaneous or peripheral T cell lymphoma that has come back and does not respond to treatment. Monoclonal antibodies, such as durvalumab, may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as lenalidomide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving durvalumab and lenalidomide may work better in treating patients with cutaneous or peripheral T cell lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT03007160 Recruiting - Urolithiasis Clinical Trials
