NCT ID: NCT03617588 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

68Ga-THP-PSMA PET/CT Imaging in High Risk Primary Prostate Cancer or Biochemical Recurrence of Prostate Cancer

PRONOUNCED
Start date: June 18, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This will be an open-labelled, single centre study in the UK. The study group will include 60 patients with three groups of patients being studied. Group A will consist of 20 patients who have been newly diagnosed with primary high risk prostate cancer and are scheduled for radical prostatectomy surgery. Group B will consist of 20 patients with a diagnosis of BCR with previous radical prostatectomy, and are being considered for radical salvage therapy. Group C will consist of 20 patients with a diagnosis of BCR with previous radical radiotherapy (but no surgery), and are being considered for radical salvage therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03615131 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Accuracy of mpMRI and MRI-targeted, Ultrasound-navigated Prostate Fusion Biopsy in Detection of Prostate Cancer

Start date: September 1, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The investigators examined whether a high PI-RADS v2 score correlates with the presence of prostate cancer. In addition, the investigator inspected whether the lesion size as determined by mpMRI correlates with the presence of prostate cancer. Furthermore, the investigators study aimed to determine the sensitivity and specificity of mpMRI with respect to prostate carcinoma detection.

NCT ID: NCT03609528 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

CamPROBE: Developing a Safer and Simple Device for Local Anaesthetic Transperineal Prostate Biopsies

CamPROBE
Start date: February 15, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The CamPROBE study investigates the rate of infective complications using the Cambridge Prostate Biopsy Device method of local anaesthetic transperineal prostate biopsies.

NCT ID: NCT03604757 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

68Ga-RM2 Compared to 68Ga-PSMA-617 PET/CT for Prostate Cancer Imaging According to Various Metastatic Risks

UROPET
Start date: April 25, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Patients with primary prostate cancer (low, intermediate or high metastatic risk) for whom radical prostatectomy is indicated, will be invited to participate to the present study. Positron Emission Tomography coupled with scanner (PET-CT) using a radiotracer : 68Ga-RM2 and Positron Emission Tomography coupled with scanner (PET-CT) using another radiotracer : 68Ga-PSMA-617, will be scheduled.

NCT ID: NCT03604211 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

SBRT for Oligometastatic Lymph Node Recurrence in Prostate Cancer: a Single Institution Experience

Start date: January 2010
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Single-institution retrospective analysis for predictive factors of prostate cancer patients presenting with isolated or limited lymph node (LN) recurrence (1-3 lesions) on F-Ccholine PET-CT (CholPET) treated with SBRT between January 2010 and July 2015.

NCT ID: NCT03602079 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Study of A166 in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Cancers Expressing HER2 Antigen or Having Amplified HER2 Gene

Start date: July 16, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Open-label, Phase I-II, first-in-human (FIH) study for A166 monotherapy in HER2-expressing or amplified patients who progressed on or did not respond to available standard therapies. Patients must have documented HER2 expression or amplification. The patient must have exhausted available standard therapies. Patients will receive study drug as a single IV infusion. Cycles will continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.

NCT ID: NCT03582475 Completed - Clinical trials for Urothelial Carcinoma

Pembrolizumab With Combination Chemotherapy in Treating Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Small Cell/Neuroendocrine Cancers of Urothelium or Prostate

Start date: December 20, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase Ib trial studies how well pembrolizumab works with combination chemotherapy in treating participants with small cell/neuroendocrine cancers of the urothelium or prostate that has spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes or that has spread to other places in the body. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as etoposide, docetaxel, cisplatin, and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving pembrolizumab with platinum-based chemotherapy may work better in treating participants with small cell/neuroendocrine cancers of the urothelium or prostate.

NCT ID: NCT03579680 Completed - Cancer of Prostate Clinical Trials

De-implementation of Low Value Castration for Men With Prostate Cancer

DeADT
Start date: August 22, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will use a theory-based, mixed methods approach to identify, tailor and pilot two different de-implementation strategies that vary widely in delivery, impact, and expected results for reducing low value androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) use in preparation for a randomized comparative effectiveness trial comparing two tailored deimplementation strategies to reduce chemical castration as localized prostate cancer treatment and treatment for non-metastatic biochemical recurrence with low PSA levels.

NCT ID: NCT03575819 Completed - Clinical trials for Prostate Cancer Metastatic

Start date: February 4, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will test the safety and efficacy of FOR46 given every 21 days to patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. The name of the study drug involved in this study is: FOR46 for Injection (FOR46)

NCT ID: NCT03573011 Completed - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

PSMA PET/CT for Prostate Cancer

NGP2
Start date: June 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Prostate cancer is the most frequently occurring male cancer in Belgium. Patients who have been treated for prostate cancer, i.e. by surgery and/or radiotherapy, in a substantial degree suffer from a tumor recurrence, often diagnosed by an increase in serum tumor marker Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) within the first few years. In these patients with evidence of a tumor recurrence after primary treatment, it is important to most exactly define the location(s) of tumor, to guide appropriate therapy by surgery, radiotherapy and/or hormonotherapy. In so-called oligo-metastatic disease targeted therapy may still be curative and prevent the disease from spreading to distant locations. Therefore it is of paramount importance to have an accurate tool of medical imaging to localize all possible locations to be treated.
