Filter by:The FIBROPANC-1 investigates the feasibility and safety of preoperative stereotactic radiotherapy of 4cm pancreas in patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy at high risk (>25%) of developing post operative pancreatic fistula (POPF). A single course of 12Gy preoperative radiotherapy may lead to sufficient fibrosis in a small (4cm) targeted area, thereby reducing the risk of grade B and C POPF.
Researchers want to discover if the new drug "TG01" will work with participants' bodies to help their immune system attack any cancer cells that might still be in the blood stream after surgery for pancreatic cancer. The researchers will also investigate whether or not "TG01" combined with the other study drug, "Balstilimab", will show even greater efficacy. TG01 and Balstilimab are both experimental treatments and are not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as treatment in the United States, or elsewhere, for pancreatic cancer or any other type of cancer. Balstilimab has been studied in other cancers and has shown signs of efficacy. Another drug will be used in this study called "QS-21". It is not intended to treat any disease but is used in this study to improve the action of the study drug TG01. QS-21 has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be mixed with a vaccine used to prevent shingles. It has not been approved to be mixed with the study drug, TG01. Participants will undergo eligibility screening, weekly visits during treatment when receiving the study drug or study drug combination, two safety follow-up visits, at about 30 and 90 days after the last dose of study treatment, and long term follow up for about 12 months after the last dose of study treatment.
This randomized, controlled clinical trial compares the perioperative treatment with acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) in patients with cancer of the pancreatic head. The main question it aims to answer is: Do patients treated perioperatively with aspirin develop less metastasis after curative resection of pancreatic head tumors? Participants will be asked to : - take a daily aspirin tablet starting 1-4 weeks before surgery until 6 months after surgery - participate in regular follow-up visits.
This study is Phase I/IIa First-in-Human Study of [212Pb]VMT-α-NET Targeted Alpha-Particle Therapy for Advanced SSTR2 Positive Neuroendocrine Tumors
This is a window-of-opportunity study which will evaluate the safety and feasibility of single-dose neoadjuvant Hepatic Artery (HA) chemotherapy (FUDR/oxaliplatin) in patients with localized pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) eligible for surgical resection and systemic chemotherapy. Current standard-of-care therapy for patients with localized PDAC includes surgical resection and six months of systemic chemotherapy. Because the sequence of these treatments (surgery and chemotherapy) is not well established, we will include both patients planned to undergo surgery before chemotherapy, as well as patients planned to receive systemic chemotherapy before surgery. This will allow us to test the safety and feasibility of adding single-dose neoadjuvant HA chemotherapy prior to surgery across the real-world treatment strategies employed in typical clinical practice. Moreover, the window-of-opportunity design is intended to make sure that all patients receive HA chemotherapy in addition to standard-of-care surgery and systemic chemotherapy, so as not to withhold the treatment approach currently associated with best outcomes. The primary endpoint is safety and feasibility, and patients will be followed for 30 days after resection of their primary tumors to assess these outcomes. Following the short-term follow-up period, patients move to long-term follow-up, which will occur every three months after resection of the primary tumor, for a period of up to three years. Long-term secondary endpoints include disease free survival (DFS), liver metastasis-free survival (LMFS), and overall survival (OS).
The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of concurrent chemoradiotherapy combined with immunotherapy in patients with potentially resectable pancreatic cancer.
To learn if the investigational study drug, adagrasib (also called MRTX849), can help to control pancreatic cancer that has a KRAS G12 mutation. The safety and possible effects of adagrasib will also be studied.
The goal of this research study is to asses the safety and efficacy of the combination of AGEN1423 and Balstilimab with or without chemotherapies, gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel, for the treatment of advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) which has progressed after at least one previous line of cancer therapy. The names of the study drugs involved in this study are: - AGEN1423 - Balstilimab Participants will receive study treatment for about 2 years and will be followed for 1 year after.
A Phase 1/1b dose finding study to determine the OBD(s) and RP2D(s) of BMF-219, a covalent menin inhibitor small molecule, in subjects with KRAS mutated unresectable, locally advanced, or metastatic NSCLC (Cohort 1), PDAC (Cohort 2), and CRC (Cohort 3).
Neuroendocrine neoplams (NENs) are uncommon, but with a significant increasing incidence and prevalence with advances in diagnostic techniques. NENs can originate from various parts of the body and are highly heterogeneous. Neuroendocrine tumors (NET), dividing into G1, G2, G3, are well-differentiated types with slow growth and neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) are poorly-differentiated with high malignancy. Pancreatic carcinoma is one of the malignant neoplasms with a very high mortality rate. For NET G3, NEC and pancreatic, there are limited treatment options especially for those who progressed on standard chemotherapy. Surufatinib is a novel multi-targeted kinase inhibitor on VEGFR-1, 2, 3, FGFR1, and CSF1R, which has required the China NMPA approval on unresectable NETs (G1&G2). The pivital phase III clinical trial on NEC is ongoing. Sintilimab is a PD-1 inhibitor with the approval on gastric cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma and Hodgkin lymphoma. Clinical evidence has shown the anti-tumor activity of surufatinib in combination with PD-1 inhibitor in solid tumors, including NEN, small-cell lung cancer, G/GEJ cancer, etc. The current study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of surufatinib in combination with sintilimab in the treatment of NET G3, NEC and pancreatic carcinoma, in order to provide more treatment options for the patients who failed standard chemotherapy.
