Filter by:This randomized study examines how well zinc works in improving quality of life in patients with gastrointestinal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery who are receiving chemotherapy. Zinc may help to improve patient's quality of life by preventing zinc deficiency.
This study is an open-label, single arm phase 1b safety study of CAR2 Anti-CEA CAR-T cell hepatic arterial infusions for pancreatic carcinoma patients with carcinoembryonic antigen positive (CEA+) liver metastases resistant to standard therapy who meet all other eligibility criteria.
Gastroentero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are a heterogenous group of neoplasms that arise from enterochromaffin cells of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and pancreas. They account for 50-70% of all incident NETs. Due to the lack of symptoms in the early stage of disease and the frequency of nonspecific GI symptoms, GEP-NETs are difficult to diagnose. Identification of effective biomarkers (such as Chromogranin A) to improve GEP-NET diagnosis, as well as to assess treatment efficacy, relapse and prognosis, is important for improving outcomes for patients with GEP-NETs. The purpose of this study is to validate the performance of Brahms (BRAHMS) Chromogranin A II Kryptor (KRYPTOR) assay to monitor the course of disease in patients with well-defined GEP-NETs.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of anetumab ravtansine when given together with nivolumab, ipilimumab and gemcitabine hydrochloride in treating patients with mesothelin positive pancreatic cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced). Anetumab ravtansine is a monoclonal antibody, called anetumab ravtansine, linked to a chemotherapy drug called DM4. Anetumab attaches to mesothelin positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers DM4 to kill them. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab and ipilimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as gemcitabine hydrochloride, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving anetumab ravtansine together with nivolumab, ipilimumab, and gemcitabine hydrochloride may work better in treating patients with pancreatic cancer.
The purpose of this study is to confirm the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of zolbetuximab in combination with Nab-P + GEM, determine overall survival and assess the safety and tolerability of the combination treatment. This study will also evaluate tumor markers and pharmacokinetics (PK) of zolbetuximab, Nab-P and GEM, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL).
This single-arm, Phase II clinical trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of nab-paclitaxel plus S-1 in locally advanced pancreatic cancer who were borderline resectable or unresectable .
This study plans to analyze the digestive flora structure of the group of patients with pancreatic cancer. The investigators compared the microflora of pancreatic cancer with other pancreatic diseases and healthy people,in order to obtatin the information of microbial community difference among the different groups. Finally, the investigators hope to identify the potential biomarker and pathogenic mechanisms that causes the onset and progression of pancreatic diseases.
This is a randomized, multicenter, phase II study of with nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine or gemcitabine alone for the treatment of chemotherapy-naïve patients with locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer. Arm 1: Nab-paclitaxel plus gemcitabine Arm 2: Gemcitabine alone
This clinical data registry records information about the health status and healthcare performances received by participants affected by every type of pancreatic disease or disorder. All data (demographic, clinical, biochemical, radiological, pharmacological, genetic...) and audio and/or video recording from operative room are collected in order to be used for prospective or retrospective studies.
The purpose of this study is to compare the diagnosis accuracy of 22G EUS Procore fine needle biopsy (FNB)device and 20G EUS Procore fine needle biopsy device for solid pancreatic lesions.
