A Registry Study for Emergency Medical Service of Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage in China

This is a staged registry study of early treatment strategy management of acute aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(aSAH) among different economic development levels areas in China. First stage, the study will investigate and register the basic information of emergency treatment management for the acute aSAH in 20 different grade centers located in different economic levels districts including Northeast part, Northern, Eastern, South-central, Northwest, Southwest and Qinghai-Tibet of China. Comparing the the outcome of acute aSAH to find the critical factors to affect it by statistical analysis. Then,the investigators will offer some suggestions to adjust the measures to improve the efficacy of emergency medical service for acute SAH. Second stage, to evaluate the outcome after applying the new suggestion of self-control methods. The investigators hypothesis that there is an appropriate green pathway in different districts to shorten the rescuing time, improve the curative effects.

Physical Activity and First Degree Female Relatives of Breast Cancer Patients

The purpose of this study is to learn more about encouraging physical activity among first degree female relatives of women with breast cancer. Physical activity can decrease a woman's risk of developing breast cancer, on average, by 20%; however, physical activity interventions have not been developed specifically for first degree female relatives of cancer patients, so currently, it is unknown whether standard physical activity interventions are sufficient for these women or if first degree female relatives would benefit from an enhanced physical activity intervention that addresses information about breast cancer risk reduction. To obtain information about first degree female relatives preferences for a physical activity intervention, this study seeks to have first degree female relatives of breast cancer patients enroll in a standard physical activity intervention developed for healthy men and women. After completion of the three month intervention, the women will be asked to participate in two, one-hour long focus group with 5-7 other participants. The first focus group is to discuss aspects of the physical activity intervention that they liked and did not like, as well as things they think may have enhanced the intervention and made it more relevant to other first-degree relative of breast cancer patients. In the second focus group, participants will be shown enhancements that were developed based on information gathered from the first focus group. Participants will be asked for their feedback on the newly developed enhancements.

Effects of Shoe Cushioning and Body Mass on Injury Risk in Running

The main goal is to investigate the influence of shoe cushioning and body mass on the risk of running-related injury. This study will allow to determine if shoe cushioning needs to be adapted to the mass of the runner in order to minimize injury risk. The influence of shoe cushioning on running technique will also be investigated. This study consists in a 6-month follow-up period during which leisure-time runners are required to perform a running activity at least once a week and to upload all their running as well as other sporting activities onto a secured web-based training calendar named "Training and Injury Prevention Platform for Sports" (TIPPS) on a weekly basis. Any injury sustained during this period should also be uploaded onto the TIPPS system using the injury questionnaire provided on the website. Finally, the day of the visit to the laboratory (study start), their running style will be analysed during a 15-minute run on an instrumented treadmill at the participant's usual running speed. Anthropometric measurements will also taken. Before the beginning of the study, the participants will receive a pair of running shoes free of charge. These shoes will either have a soft or hard sole. Both shoe versions have cushioning properties that correspond to the range of values from the shoes available on the market. They will be administered through random allocation. Neither the participants nor the research team will know which shoe version was provided to the participant, in order to respect the double-blinded methodology of this study. The participants will be required to use these shoes for all running sessions, and only for running activities. Hypotheses: H1: Running shoes with greater stiffness are associated with a higher injury risk in leisure-time runners. H2: High body mass is associated with a higher injury risk in leisure-time runners. H3: Runners with a high body mass experience a lower injury risk in shoes with greater stiffness. H4: A higher step length, a lower step frequency, and higher peak vertical impact forces are associated with a higher injury risk. H5: Running shoes with greater stiffness will be associated with higher vertical impact peak forces and a shorter contact time. H6: High body mass will be associated with higher peak vertical impact forces, increased contact time, increased duty factor, and decreased step frequency.

Comparative Study of Error Rates Between ELLIPTA® Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) and Other DPIs

For effective drug delivery using inhalation route, it is important to use the inhalers correctly. This open-label study will evaluate the error rates during the use of ELLIPTA DPI, alone or in combination, in comparison with other DPIs. The study aims to provide clinical evidence in subjects with COPD that the reduced number of steps required to use the ELLIPTA DPI could result in fewer errors made by subjects, and therefore a more consistent treatment. Approximately 450 subjects prescribed with either of RELVAR® ELLIPTA, ANORO® ELLIPTA, INCRUSE® ELLIPTA, SYMBICORT® TURBUHALER®, SERETIDE® DISKUS®, SPIRIVA® HANDIHALER®, ULTIBRO® BREEZHALER® or SEEBRI® BREEZHALER will be included in the study and will have 2 clinical visits. At Visit 1, subjects will take their maintenance DPIs and the critical and overall errors made by subjects will be assessed. After the assessment, subjects will be instructed on correct use or informed of their correct use of their DPIs. The total duration of the study is approximately 6 weeks. This phase II trial studies how well gallium Ga 68-labeled gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) antagonist BAY86-7548 (68Ga-RM2) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in detecting regional nodal and distant metastases in patients with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer. 68Ga-RM2 PET/CT scan may be able to see smaller tumors than the standard of care CT or magnetic resonance imaging scan.
