Filter by:The purpose of this study is to determine whether 12-month prophylactic treatment with pantoprazole is superior to 1-month therapy without major cardiovascular events (MACE) increased significantly, in prevention of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT)-induced upper gastrointestinal (GI) mucosal injury after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. The potentially serious harm of DAPT on gastroduodenal mucosa will be assessed by esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD).

The goal of this clinical research study is to learn about biomarker changes in patients who have primary prostate cancer after receiving Darzalex (daratumumab) and then have a prostatectomy (the surgical removal of the prostate) as part of their standard care. Biomarkers are found in the blood/tissue and may be related to your reaction to the study drug.
The primary objective of this phase 1 trial is to determine the dose-dependent toxicity and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of oncolytic adenovirus-mediated cytotoxic gene therapy in combination with SBRT in medically inoperable stage I/IIA (T1A - T2B) NSCLC. To accomplish this objective, 9 subjects will be enrolled in the study. We hypothesize that the combined treatment will demonstrate acceptable toxicity, and that it will be feasible to quantify adenovirus-mediated HSV-1 TK gene expression in the lung by PET. This phase 1 trial will lay the foundation for a follow-up phase 2 trial designed to examine efficacy.
This is a single center study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of ARMS-I a formulation that incorporates cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), administered once as a single dose of three sprays orally, followed by multiple dosing (3x daily oral sprays) over days 3-6 and then a repeat pharmacokinetic study during the final oral dose administered as the first dose on day 7 to ascertain CPC accumulation.
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of vapendavir treatment of laboratory-confirmed and symptomatic HRV infection of the upper respiratory tract in allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplant subjects. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of vapendavir on laboratory-confirmed HRV upper-respiratory tract infection in HSCT patients, as measured by viral load changes, worsening of upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) to lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI), duration of clinical symptoms, the occurrence of supplemental oxygen use, duration of viral shedding, hospital admission and duration of hospitalization, incidence of secondary bacterial infection, and mortality rates. Additionally, the safety and tolerability of vapendavir, and the vapendavir plasma levels achieved in the HSCT population, and the profile of viral resistance development will also be assessed.

Comparison Efficacy of 14-day Concomitant therapy between levofloxacin and Clarithromycin on the Eradication of Helicobacter Pylori in Syrian population
Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) patients will be randomized to receive either IC14 (a single dose of 4 mg/kg followed by 2 mg/kg on Days 2-4) or placebo. Study participation will be for a total of 28 days.
