NCT ID: NCT04716933 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nonsquamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Safety and Efficacy Study of Pemetrexed + Platinum Chemotherapy + Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) With or Without Lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) as First-line Intervention in Adults With Metastatic Nonsquamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-7902-006/E7080-G000-315/LEAP-006)-China Extension Study

Start date: November 5, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of pemetrexed+platinum chemotherapy+pembrolizumab (MK-3475) with or without lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) as first-line intervention in adults from mainland China with metastatic nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer. The primary study hypotheses state that: 1) the combination of lenvatinib+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab prolongs Progression-free Survival (PFS) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) per modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RESIST 1.1) compared to matching placebo+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab, and 2) the combination of lenvatinib+platinum doublet chemotherapy+pembrolizumab prolongs Overall Survival (OS) compared to matching placebo+platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT04716725 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Prostate Carcinoma

68Ga-PSMA-11 PET for the Diagnosis of Metastatic Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer

Start date: September 28, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies the use of 68Ga-PSMA-11 positron emission tomography (PET) in diagnosing patients with prostate cancer that continues to grow despite the surgical removal of the testes or medical intervention to block androgen production (castration resistant), and has spread to other places in the body (metastatic). 68Ga- PSMA-11 is a new imaging agent that may help get more detailed pictures of the tumor. This trial aims to see whether using 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET scans may help doctors learn more about where disease is located in the body.

NCT ID: NCT04716582 Active, not recruiting - Sedentary Behavior Clinical Trials

The Effect of Different Ways of Sitting on Cognitive Performance and Muscle Activity

Start date: June 7, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Academic educations concurs with a lot of sitting. Studies have shown that prolonged sitting not only has disruptive effects on physical health, but also influence mental health and cognition negatively. For physical health evidence grows that short light intense interruptions of sitting time effectively counterbalance the impact of prolonged sitting. It is not clear of light intense physical activity breaks have a similar positive effect on cognitive performance. Also, it is unclear whether cognitive loading might be able to compensate the impact of prolonged sitting. This study compares the effects of uninterrupted sitting with or without cognitive loading and interrupted sitting on cognitive functioning; muscle activation of leg and trunk muscles under various modes of sitting with walking, in order to calibrate the physical impact of different sitting modes.

NCT ID: NCT04716075 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Acalabrutinib in CLL and MCL Patients Subjected to Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (alloSCT)

ACALLO
Start date: August 19, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this phase II multicenter trial we plan to use acalabrutinib before and after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) with reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) in patients with refractory/relapsed MCL and CLL with poor prognostic factors. Acalabrutinib will be used before alloSCT with the intention to reduce tumor burden and after transplant to augment disease control.

NCT ID: NCT04715945 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Risk Factor

Southampton Women's Survey

SWS
Start date: April 6, 1998
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The Southampton Women's Survey was established to assess the influence of factors operating before conception and during pregnancy on the health and development of the offspring. 12,583 non-pregnant young women were recruited, and 3,158 were followed through pregnancy, with their offspring followed-up at 6 months and 1, 2, 3, 4, 6-7, 8-9 and 12-13 years. The 17-19 year follow-up has been piloted and is about to start.

NCT ID: NCT04713475 Active, not recruiting - GM1 Gangliosidosis Clinical Trials

Study of Safety, Tolerability and Efficacy of PBGM01 in Pediatric Participants With GM1 Gangliosidosis

Imagine-1
Start date: March 17, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

PBGM01 is a gene therapy for GM1 gangliosidosis intended to deliver a functional copy of the GLB1 gene to the brain and peripheral tissues. This study will assess in a 2 part design the safety, tolerability and efficacy of PBGM01 in patients with early onset infantile (Type 1) and late onset infantile (Type 2a) GM1 gangliosidosis

NCT ID: NCT04711252 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for ER-Positive HER2-Negative Breast Cancer

A Comparative Study of AZD9833 Plus Palbociclib Versus Anastrozole Plus Palbociclib in Patients With ER-Positive HER2 Negative Breast Cancer Who Have Not Received Any Systemic Treatment for Advanced Disease

Study type: Interventional

The study is intended to show superiority of AZD9833 in combination with palbociclib (a CDK4/6 inhibitor) versus anastrozole (an aromatase inhibitor) and palbociclib as the initial treatment of patients with hormone receptor-positive (ER-positive), human epidermal growth factor 2-negative (HER2-negative) advanced/metastatic breast cancer. INFORMATION FOR TRIAL PARTICIPANTS In this trial, the researchers will look at how well camizestrant with palbociclib works, compared with anastrozole with palbociclib, in participants with breast cancer that has either spread into other parts of the body at the time of diagnosis, or has come back after at least 2 years of standard endocrine treatment. Participants in this trial will have breast cancer that has ER proteins but does not have overexpression of HER2 protein.
