NCT ID: NCT03453281 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetic Retinopathy

Early Anatomical, Physiological, and Clinical Changes in Diabetic Macular Edema After Intravitreal Aflibercept Injection

Start date: October 10, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a one month pre post intervention study. Subjects with diabetic macular edema were given intravitreal anti VEGF (Aflibercept) injection. Central retinal thickness, macular electrophysiology, and visual acuity were observed one week and one month after injection was given to the eye to describe early anatomical, physiological, and clinical changes. We hypothesized that changes to these outcomes can be found and documented.

NCT ID: NCT03453086 Completed - Clinical trials for Comparison of Thoracic Paravertebral Block to Serratus Anterior Plane Block in Breast Surgery

Comparison of Thoracic Paravertebral Block , Pectoral Nerve Block to Serratus Anterior Plane Block in Breast Surgery, A Randomized Controlled Study

Start date: January 4, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators hypothesize that the analgesic efficacy of ultrasound-guided serratus anterior plane block will provide better analgesia with fewer complications in comparison to ultrasound guided thoracic paravertebral block

NCT ID: NCT03452722 Completed - Brain Injuries Clinical Trials

Neuroinflammatory Response in Patients With ICH and IVH Treated With rtPA

Start date: June 1, 2011
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study compares the neuroinflammatory response in patients with hypertensive ICH associated with IVH treated with intraventriculary applied rtPA, and the control group. The inflammatory mediator concentration is analyzed in local cerebrospinal liquor.

NCT ID: NCT03452462 Completed - Clinical trials for Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy

Electrical Resynchronization and Acute Hemodynamic Effects of Direct His Bundle Pacing Compared to Biventricular Pacing

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aims are to compare Direct His Bundle Pacing (DHBP) with biventricular pacing (BiV) in terms of electrical resynchronization using electrocardiographic imaging (ECGI) and also in terms of acute hemodynamical effect using finger plethysmography and conduction velocimetry. The study will be a randomized crossover design with acute measurements.

NCT ID: NCT03452332 Completed - Clinical trials for Recurrent Cervical Carcinoma

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy, Tremelimumab and Durvalumab in Treating Participants With Recurrent or Metastatic Cervical, Vaginal, or Vulvar Cancers

Start date: July 18, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies how well stereotactic body radiation therapy works in combination with tremelimumab and durvalumab in treating participants with cervical, vaginal, or vulvar cancers that have come back (recurrent) or spread to other areas of the body (metastatic). Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a specialized radiation therapy that sends x-rays directly to the tumor using smaller doses over several days and may cause less damage to normal tissue. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as tremelimumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Durvalumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving stereotactic body radiation therapy, tremelimumab, and durvalumab may work better in treating participants with cervical, vaginal, or vulvar cancers.

NCT ID: NCT03452228 Completed - Clinical trials for Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG)

Safety and Efficacy Following Repeat-Dose of Evinacumab (Anti-ANGPTL3) in Patients With Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG) at Risk for Acute Pancreatitis

Start date: June 7, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective is to determine the change in Triglyceride (TG) levels following 12 weeks of repeated Intravenous (IV) doses of evinacumab.

NCT ID: NCT03452150 Completed - Clinical trials for Advanced Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

D-0316 First Time in Patients Ascending Dose Study

Start date: January 3, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 1 open label multicentre study of D-0316 administered orally in patients with advanced NSCLC who have progressed following prior therapy with an EGFR-TKI (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor agent). This is the first time this drug has ever been tested in patients, and so it will help to understand safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and preliminary anti-tumour activity of ascending doses of D-0316.

NCT ID: NCT03452085 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

The Artificial Saliva Spray Reduces Xerostomia in Diabetes Type II

Start date: September 23, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In diabetes Type II the xerostomia is a quite frequent symptom. In evaluating the activity of an artificial saliva spray compared to a water gel in patients with Diabetes Type II patients had to follow a three day treatment with each product. Whereas after the first treatment period the two groups had to follow a wash out period of three days before the second treatment period could begin. The artificial saliva spray reduced the xerostomia and the inflammation or the oral tissue.

NCT ID: NCT03452059 Completed - Clinical trials for Lower Extremity Motor Dysfunction, Spinal Cord Injury

Evaluation of the Effectiveness and Safety of AI-Robotics

ART
Start date: July 11, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of the lower extremity exoskeleton rehabilitation training robot

NCT ID: NCT03451994 Completed - Clinical trials for Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases

Exploratory Study of Volatile Organic Compounds in Alveolar Breath
