Filter by:This is an open-label study designed to evaluate safety and efficacy of enoblituzumab in combination with MGA012 or MGD013 in first-line treatment of patients with recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN).
To assess the effect of ARNI on myocardial deoxygenation at stress and myocardial fibrosis, and correlate this to changes in myocardial systolic and diastolic function in HFpEF patients.
This phase II trial studies how well itacitinib works in preventing graft versus host disease in patients with blood disorders undergoing donor stem cell transplantation. A donor transplantation uses blood-making cells from a family member or unrelated donor to remove and replace abnormal blood cells. Graft versus host disease is a reaction of the donor's immune cells against the patient's body. Itacitinib plus standard treatment may help prevent graft versus host disease in patients who have received a donor stem cell transplantation.
This phase IIa trial studies how well rintatolimod and pembrolizumab works in treating patients with colorectal cancer that does not respond to treatment (refractory), has spread to other places in the body (metastatic), or otherwise cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Rintatolimod is an immuno-oncology agent that can stimulate the immune system. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving rintatolimod and pembrolizumab together may work better than standard of care in treating patients with colorectal cancer.
This is a study of the DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) in the exploration of effective strategies for Heart failure (HF) with preserved ejection fraction (HFPEF) prevention.
This is a single-center, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, parallel treatment groups phase 2a study of curcumin for pediatric nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Phase IV, open-label study will evaluate effects of Benralizumab in the treatment of severe asthma in patients with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis
The actual format of the anticipated LEISH3 trial is under review.
This phase II trial studies how well 177Lu-DOTATATE works in treating patients with rare endocrine cancers that have spread from where they started to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced), spread to other places in the body (metastatic), or cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Radioactive drugs, such as 177Lu-DOTATATE, may carry radiation directly to cancer cells and not harm normal cells. 177Lu-DOTATATE may help to control endocrine cancers compared to standard treatment.
Acute kidney injury (AKI) is common in intensive care unit (ICU) patients and is associated with longer hospital stays and worse survival. The mortality rate of critically ill patients in the ICU who receive renal replacement therapy for AKI ranges between 50-80%, cardiovascular disease being the second largest cause of death. A previous pilot study from the investigator's group showed that myocardial stunning occurs in AKI patients during continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and may explain the high cardiovascular mortality in this population. In the chronic intermittent dialysis setting, mild dialysate cooling was shown to improve intradialytic hemodynamic stability and prevent myocardial stunning. The aim of this study is to find out whether cooling the blood in the CRRT circuit is an effective intervention to prevent myocardial stunning in AKI patients undergoing CRRT and improve patient outcomes.
