Filter by:This phase II trial studies how well rituximab, venetoclax, and bortezomib work in treating patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Venetoclax and bortezomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the proteins needed for cell growth. Giving rituximab, venetoclax, and bortezomib may slow or stop the growth of cancer cells in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
This is a single center, Phase 1/2 study in which patients with Hurler syndrome who have previously undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation are treated with autologous plasmablasts engineered to express α-L-iduronidase (IDUA) using the Sleeping Beauty transposon system.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety, pharmacokinetics (PK) and preliminary efficacy of both the combination of MBG453 and NIS793 with or without decitabine or spartalizumab as well as single agent MBG453 and/or NIS793 single agent in myelofibrosis (MF) subjects post treatment with a Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitor. In this study, combination therapies with novel agents including immune therapy will focus on determining the promising combinations that provide acceptable safety and efficacy independent of JAK inhibitors. Immune therapy combinations, such as MBG453 in combination with NIS793, might offer the potential to target MF across genetic heterogeneity. The primary objective of this study is to characterize the safety, tolerability and recomended dose for each treatment combination (MBG453 + NIS793, MBG453 + NIS793 + decitabine, and MBG453 + NIS793 + spartalizumab)
This phase I trial studies the side effects of using an investigational procedure (fecal microbiota transplantation [FMT]) in treating patients with severe acute gut graft-versus-host-disease. The purpose of a fecal microbiota transplantation is to use feces from a healthy human donor to replace the abnormal gut bacteria in the recipient. One of the side effects of a stem cell transplant is the development of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) in several organs including gut. GvHD is caused by the donated bone marrow or peripheral blood cells recognizing the recipient's body as foreign and attacking it. Acute gut GvHD is one of the leading causes of death after transplant. Recently, studies have shown that patients with reduced intestinal bacterial diversity in their stool during acute gut GvHD have higher overall mortality rates. The information learned from this study may offer FMT as a promising therapy for the treatment of severe acute gut graft-versus-host-disease.

Determine the safety and effectiveness of Lu-177 DOTATOC in adult subjects with somatostatin receptor-expressing Pulmonary, Pheochromocytoma, Paraganglioma, Unknown primary, and Thymus neuroendocrine tumors or any other non-.GEP-NET. The treatment regimen will consist of 4 doses of 200 (±10%) mCi 177Lu-DOTATOC administered at 8+/- 1-week intervals.

The aim of this project is to investigate the association of glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and severe aortic stenosis (AS), as well as the impact of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) on GPx activity post-procedure. The burden of oxidative stress will be determined by the measurement of GPx, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and lipoprotein A (Lp(a)). We hypothesize GPx activity is reduced in participants with severe AS vs control groups and GPx activity is to increase after TAVR is performed.
RV521 is to being developed to treat RSV infection and disease in susceptible individuals at high risk for complications. This is an international, multicenter, placebo-controlled study. Eligible subjects are adults with a documented symptomatic RSV infection who have undergone HCT transplantation and are moderately to severely immunocompromised. Qualified subjects will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive RV521 or placebo, twice daily for 10 days.
