Filter by:This phase I trial investigates the side effects and best dose of abexinostat and palbociclib when given together with fulvestrant in treating patients with breast or gynecologic cancer. Abexinostat may prevent tumor cells from growing and multiplying and may kill tumor cells. Palbociclib may prevent or slow the growth of tumor cells when used with other anti-hormonal therapy. Estrogen can cause the growth of breast and gynecologic tumor cells. Fulvestrant may help fight breast or gynecologic cancer by blocking the use of estrogen by the tumor cells. Giving abexinostat, palbociclib, and fulvestrant may work better in treating patients with breast or gynecologic cancer.
This phase I/II trial investigates the side effects and best dose of alvocidib when given together with decitabine and venetoclax and to see how well it works in treating patients with acute myeloid leukemia that has come back (relapsed), has not responded to previous treatment (refractory), or as frontline treatment for patients unable to receive other therapies (unfit). Alvocidib, decitabine, and venetoclax may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how leg amputee patients can feel sensations with neuromodulation while they are using a prosthetic leg. "Neuromodulation" is the process by which the nervous system can be regulated by targeted delivery of a stimulus, such as electrical stimulation or chemical agents, to specific neurological sites in the body. In this study, the investigators plan to use either electrical stimulation of the spinal cord (Spinal Cord Stimulation) or electrical stimulation of the dorsal root ganglion (DRG stimulation) as methods for neuromodulation. Participation in this study will involve visiting the K-Lab (Human Performance Laboratory) at Duke's Sports Medicine Institute once prior to trial implant surgery, if feasible, and four times during the two weeks following the implantation of trial stimulation leads to evaluate sensations related to touch and position of the prosthetic leg as they are generated by neuromodulation.
The goal of this research is to examine the ability of Gallium-68 (68Ga) Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen-11 (PSMA-11) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) to detect sites of recurrent prostate cancer in patients with biochemical recurrence previously treated with radical prostatectomy (RP) or external beam radiation (EBRT) and to assess treatment response to subsequent salvage therapy.

This is a multi center, retrospective, chart review study to document the evolution of ocular disease progression in pediatric patients with CLN2.
The aim of this study is to compare the efficacy of intranasal budesonide administration with lying head back position and a 5 mins time to release of medication (5MR) compared to 1 min time to release (1MR) in chronic rhinosinusitis patients (CRS). Participants will be instructed to administer via mucosal automatization device (MAD) with either of the two treatment approaches daily for 5 to 7 days per week and 8 weeks total. This is a crossover study design so each participants will be placed in the other treatment approach for an additional 8 weeks of treatment. Moreover, there will be a "washout" of 2 weeks after baseline assessment and before the first treatment, as well as a second "washout" of 2 weeks between the two treatment approaches. The participants will also complete study related procedures such as endoscopic evaluation, cultures, and two questionnaires throughout the study period. The investigators hypothesize that Budesonide delivered to the sinuses with a 5 minute time to release of medication will be more effective at decreasing inflammation when compared to a 1 minute time to release of medication after administration.
