NCT ID: NCT04149366 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Temporomandibular Joint Disorders After Using Essix Retainer

Clinical and Radiographic Evaluation of Different Thickness of Vacuum Formed Retainer (Essix Retainer) During Retention Phase After Orthodontic Treatment

Start date: October 29, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

vacuum formed retainer act as bite raiser that increase vertical dimension which may affect Tempromandibular joint and aim of this study is to perform clinical and radiographic evaluation of different thickness of vacuum formed retainer (Essix retainer) during retention phase after orthodontic treatment

NCT ID: NCT04147949 Not yet recruiting - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

AV-101 (L-4-chlorokynurenine) in Parkinson's Disease Subjects With Levodopa-Induced Dyskinesia

Start date: August 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover, proof-of-concept Phase 2 study to test efficacy and safety of AV-101 (L-4-chlorokynurenine) in Parkinson's Disease subjects with levodopa-induced dyskinesia. The trial will be conducted in two treatment periods, in which each treatment period will consist of 14 days. The two treatment periods will be separated by a 1-week washout period. During the first treatment period, subjects meeting all eligibility criteria will be randomly assigned to receive either 1440 mg AV-101 or placebo in a 1:1 ratio. AV-101 or placebo will be administered BID for 14 days (every 12 hours). After the washout period, all subjects will be crossed over to receive the alternate treatment during the second treatment period (14-day period). On the last day of each treatment period (Visit 4 [Day 14] and Visit 7 [Day35]), subjects will be assessed in clinic while in the practically "off" state and will receive the morning dose of the study drug at the clinic. This will be followed, within 25-30 minutes, by oral administration of a dose of levodopa that is 150% of the subject's normal dose. Assessments of dyskinesia and PD motor symptoms will be performed before and after levodopa/carbidopa administration.

NCT ID: NCT04145609 Not yet recruiting - Acute Kidney Injury Clinical Trials

Intensified Acute Kidney Disease Care to Reduce Chronic Kidney Disease

ISACC
Start date: January 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Strategies to stop AKI-AKD-CKD continuum - Policy is one of the collaborative projects, Strategies to stop AKI-AKD-CKD continuum, Epidemiology, Immunology, Repair, Artificial intelligence, and Policy (EIRAP). It is aimed to study effective interventional strategies that lower the incidence of CKD among patients with AKD. The intensified AKD care to reduce CKD (ISACC trial) is a prospective, open-labeled, randomized controlled trial is designed to evaluate the efficacy of multidisciplinary team care (MDT) model and acute kidney disease (AKD) clinic visits

NCT ID: NCT04144816 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

Predictors of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Hospitalizations in Infants

PRSVH
Start date: October 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The VRS (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) study group in Lyon is a working that aims to understand, predict and prevent the burden of disease caused by human respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection in infants. Incidence of RSV-associated hospitalization in the first year of life was estimated at 14.5 (95% CI 13.4-15.6) per 1000 births in a cohort study in Lyon, France. Related direct medical annual costs were estimated for this cohort at 364,269€, mostly attributed to children born during the RSV season (231,959€) and children born premature (108,673€). This study will combine existing hospital specimens and databases to determine the respective role of socio demographic factors, clinical risk factors, level of cord specific antibody at birth, and virus characteristic in the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Hospitalization outcome in Infants. Regarding the introduction of a new RSV vaccine and RSV-specific neutralizing antibodies, these data are of prime importance to guide future vaccine policies.

NCT ID: NCT04142879 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Stroke Workflow and Clinical Outcome Parameters

Automated Detection and Triage of Large Vessel Occlusions Using Artificial Intelligence for Early and Rapid Treatment (ALERT)

ALERT
Start date: December 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Post Market, Prospective, Randomized, Controlled, multi center data collection study to evaluate the use of Viz versus the standard of care in stroke workflow and clinical outcome parameters.

NCT ID: NCT04142398 Not yet recruiting - HIV Infection Clinical Trials

Incidence of HPV Infection and HPV-Associated Disease in Screening Indian Men Who Have Sex With HIV-Positive Men

Start date: April 30, 2025
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This research trial studies the incidence of human papilloma virus (HPV) infection and HPV-associated disease in screening Indian men who have sex with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive men. Gathering health information over time from Indian men who have sex with men (MSM) may help doctors determine how many HIV -positive MSM develop new HPV infections and how many HIV-positive MSM have HPV related disease.

NCT ID: NCT04140565 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for PET Images and Deep Neural Networks Algorithms

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Images Using Deep Neural Networks

Start date: November 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

PET images are based on detecting two annihilation 511 KeV photons that are produced by positron emitting isotopes. The longer the acquisition time, the more photons are detected and processed, resulting in better image quality. However, long scan times (typically 20-40 minutes per scan) are less convenient to patients, and may result in patient motion and misalignment. several studies have used machine learning to produce diagnostic images from low quality images. The goal of our study is to produce diagnostic PET images with 10 seconds acquisition time per bed position using DNN algorithms
