Filter by:Nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) acts as a 'pressure' bridge between spontaneous breathing and controlled mechanical ventilation. As a result, there is an increasing trend in the prophylactic use of nasal CPAP in pediatric patients following high-risk airway procedures to reduce postoperative airway complications. Still, there is no study published on the prophylactic use of balloon dilatation in children with tracheal stenosis. The study hypothesizes that implementing postoperative prophylactic CPAP in pediatric cases with subglottic stenosis undergoing balloon dilation may shorten recovery time and minimize airway complications.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of SHR-1314 injection in healthy subjects at different specifications devices.
Our aim was to describe the development and usability of a mobile device-based game therapy software for ADHD.
This retrospective study included nAMD patients whose eyes were grouped into the following cohorts, with the overall cohort receiving ≥ 1 brolucizumab injection; the 12-month and 18-month brolucizumab (BRO) cohorts, which consisted of nAMD patient eyes who switched from a previous anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and had ≥3 brolucizumab injections with no other anti-VEGF in the first 12 months (360 days) and 18 months (540 days) of follow-up respectively; and the 12-month and 18-month alternating (ALT) cohorts, which consisted of nAMD patient eyes who switched from a previous anti-VEGF to brolucizumab and had ≥2 brolucizumab injections and ≥1 injection of another anti-VEGF in the first 12 months and 18 months of follow-up, respectively.
This is a open label, multicenter, Phase II study to evaluate the usability of the pre-filled syringe (PFS) of SB11 (ranibizumab biosimilar). Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) followed the Instructions for Use (IFU) to prepare and administer SB11 PFS with intravitreal injection to subjects with nAMD or Macular Oedema Secondary to RVO.
To validate and investigate the efficacy of comprehensive functional assessments for the diagnostic and prognostic value in NOCAD.
The goal of this observational study is to compare the, ARISCAT and LAS VEGUS scales, for predicting postoperative pulmonary complications in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The study aims to compare the diagnostic accuracies of the two risk prediction scores in predicting postoperative pulmonary complications.
the goal of this type of study : observation study is to learn about cerebral edema and hematoma in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage the main questions it aims to answer are current clinical practices lack predictive models to identify early structural brain abnormalities affecting cognition.
Infections are proposed risk factors for type 1 diabetes in children. The investigators will examine whether a diagnosis of infectious disease also confers an increased risk of latent autoimmune diabetes in adults.
This study investigated the acute effects of two fruit juices on postprandial glycemic responses and satiety in healthy individuals
