This study will be a prospective, multi-centred, non-randomized study to investigate the safety and performance of the PerQseal® + in up to 20 patients in 2 centres within France. The PerQseal® + shall be indicated for the percutaneous closure of femoral artery punctures and to induce arterial haemostasis in patients undergoing endovascular procedures requiring an arteriotomy created with 14 - 22 F sheaths (arteriotomy up to 26 F).
The number of breast cancer survivors is growing. More cured women are becoming long-term survivors of breast cancer (LS-BC) at least 5 years after diagnosis and after treatment has been completed. Some of these LS-BC return to daily life without any problems; however, in many cases, they experience and have to deal with physical sequelae (chronic fatigue, pain, etc.) psychological sequelae (anxiety, depression, fear of recurrence, etc.) and social sequelae (altered interpersonal relationships, difficulty in returning to work, etc.). For many LS-BC, these health problems are not being met by health professionals. Thus there is a need to promote greater continuity and coordination between specialized oncology care and primary health care in order to enhance specific follow-up of these women in the community. However, the role of the primary health care team in the provision of care in the long-term cancer survival is not clearly defined and few actions have been aimed at improving care activities, standardizing procedures and protocols, developing documentation and registries and updating the training of health care professionals. Therefore, this study aim to design, implement, and evaluate a web based tailored intervention, using artificial intelligence, to improve the quality of life of long-term breast cancer survivors, and self-efficacy for the management of late sequelae from primary care.
The Aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of platelet rich plasma eye drops in the management of different corneal surface disorders. PRP is a blood sample with a concentrated platelet count, and numerous growth factors that are associated with conjunctival and corneal wound healing process. which is an important advantage over other products. PRP eye drops recently are proving to be an effective and potent therapeutic approach to promote corneal wound re-epithelization and promote ocular surface regeneration in different pathological conditions.
The purpose of this research study is to determine if using a vibration tool improves pain control after surgical treatment of distal radius fracture. Additionally, the investigators would like to determine if this tool has any impact on consumption of pain medications postoperatively.
The purpose of this study is to perform a randomized controlled trial among 180 pregnant women with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comparing continuous glucose monitor (CGM) use to the standard of care of multiple daily fingerstick glucose monitoring and its impact on large for gestational age infants, maternal glycemic control, patient satisfaction, and additional adverse perinatal outcomes.
This is a multicenter, 3-arm, randomized, open-label study. Subjects referred to colonoscopy for screening or surveillance will be randomized in a 2:5:5 into one of the following arms: (i) Standard Colonoscopy (ii) Artificial Intelligence Aided Colonoscopy (GI Genius™) (iii) Combined Artificial Intelligence Aided Colonoscopy (GI Genius™) and G-EYE® Balloon Aided Colonoscopy
The aim of this single center, single arm and prospective study is to explore the safety and efficacy of tumor antigen-pulsed DC vaccine( OCDC and NeoDC) for postoperative adjuvant treatment of ESCC
Recent studies on health personnel in Colombia have evidenced the considerable increase in the levels of stress and anxiety, among other psychological disorders, as a product of the COVID-19 pandemic that is being experienced since 2019 and that implies a greater demand for attention from the affected citizens, with the consequent work overload and tension due to the risk of contagion. Thus, the present work will allow the generation of new knowledge in relation to the benefits of Vitamin N therapy in Colombia; which can contribute quickly and effectively to the reduction of stress levels, anxiety, insomnia, and depression in individuals, when compared with conventional interventions and result in possible benefits such as the reduction of health problems such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and diseases associated with the immune system.
This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of L-DEP (L-Asparaginasum, liposomal doxorubicin, etoposide and methylprednisolone) together with PD-1 antibody as an treatment for relapse/refractory EBV associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.
