Filter by:This is a randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled Phase III interventional trial of the nine-valent HPV vaccine (9vHPV) to prevent persistent oral HPV infection in adult cisgender men and transgender women living with HIV.
We plan to analyze 100 PCNSL homogenously treated with high-dose methotrexate based chemotherapy using NGS of PCNSL samples. We will perform DNA-seq and RNA-seq from tumor samples. This data will be combined with their magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at different time points: at diagnosis, at the end of the treatment and at disease progression. Among the 100 PCNSL that will be included, 70 will be from a retrospective (training set) from patients included in the French National PCNSL dataset (LOC cohort) and 30 PCNSL from a prospective cohort from patients included in a phase III clinical trial (BLOCAGE, PHRC 2014). On the one hand, we will perform a radiomics analysis (quantitative imaging) using 3D tumor and edema segmentation. This analysis will help us to elucidate the potential correlation of MRI phenotypes and genotype (using high-throughput data). In addition, we will use the radiomics data combined with in vitro and in vivo data (using a mouse model of PCNSL) as well as immunohistochemistry data to obtain a multidimensional mathematical modeling of PCNSL clinical evolution that will allow us to better predict the clinical course of this rare subtype of brain tumor.
This is a single arm Phase Ib/II, open label, safety, pharmacokinetic and efficacy clinical study in adult patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Patients will be treated with the combination of copanlisib and rucaparib for as long as the patient does not have clinically significant progressive disease and/or unacceptable toxicity and/or as long as the investigator deems that the patient is benefiting from treatment. Treatment may also be stopped if the patient withdraws consent, or study termination occurs.
Severely calcified coronary stenoses are difficult to treat with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using current techniques and there is little specific evidence on how to best treat these cases. It is hypothesized that balloon lithoplasty is superior to conventional balloons for lesion preparation of severely calcified coronary lesions before stent implantation in terms of procedural failure and 1-year target vessel failure.
Activating somatic mutations and methylation profiles identified by liquid biopsies could identify CDH1 and CTNNA1 pathogenic variants carriers with invasive diffuse gastric cancer undetectable by upper G-I endoscopy.
The prevalence of adolescent behaviors that can lead to obesity are alarming, and reduced life expectancy is the future of America's youth if behavioral changes are not implemented to improve health and reduce the obesity burden. Researchers have argued that health literacy is a precursor to health knowledge and is necessary for translating knowledge about healthy choices into behavior, with low health literacy being associated with reduced preventive health behaviors in adults. Given the lack of health literacy-specific interventions addressing adolescents' obesogenic behaviors, the purpose of this study is to examine the preliminary effectiveness of adding a health literacy module to an obesity prevention intervention that addresses adolescents' obesogenic behaviors.
Prospective, multi-center, non-randomized study with consecutive, eligible subject enrollment at each site, for the evaluation of the ChEVAS System for Endovascular Repair of Complex Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms.
This phase II trial studies the efficacy and safety of systemic induction of mFOLFIRINOX, followed by hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) floxuridine-dexamethasone administered concurrently with systemic mFOLFIRI in treating patients with liver-dominant intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) that cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Drugs used in chemotherapy regimens, such as mFOLFIRINOX and mFOLFIRI (Oxaliplatin, Irinotecan, Fluorouracil, Folinic acid, Floxuridine) work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Delivering chemotherapy via HAI (hepatic arterial infusion) can allow for liver-directed treatment while limiting toxic side effects typically seen with traditional chemotherapy.
This phase I/Ib trial studies the side effects and best dose of CB-839 HCl when given together with sapanisertib in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced). CB-839 HCl and sapanisertib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
An open-label, multi-center, single and cyclic ascending dose study of P-PSMA-101 autologous CAR-T cells in patients with mCRPC and SGC.
