Filter by:Primary objective: • To assess the efficacy of reparixin compared to placebo in limiting CRF in adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer undergoing single-agent taxane chemotherapy, using FACITFatigue scale. The secondary objectives are: - To evaluate change in Quality of Life in the two treatment arms - To assess the percentage of patients treated with reparixin compared to placebo delaying and discontinuing chemotherapy - To assess Patient Global Impression of Severity (PGI-S) score and Patient Global Impression of Change (PGI-C) score associated with reparixin compared to placebo - To assess the effect of reparixin compared to placebo on ECOG PS - To assess the effects of reparixin vs placebo on Objective Response Rate (ORR), Progression Free Survival (PFS), Overall Survival (OS) The safety objective is: • To assess the safety and tolerability of reparixin in adult patients undergoing taxane-containing chemotherapy. The pharmacokinetic (PK) objective is: • To define the PK profile of orally administered reparixin, its metabolites (DF2243Y, DF2188Y, ibuprofen) and concomitant antineoplastic agents (paclitaxel, or nab-paclitaxel or docetaxel) in adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
This is a multicenter randomized phase ll clinical trial to evaluate the pathological complete response (pCR) in the tumour burden (primary and lymph nodes) with olaparib alone or in the olaparib and durvalumab arm in TNBC patients candidate for neoadjuvant strategy showing a t/gBRCAmut or BRCAness/HRD profile.
This trial will study how safely the tazemetostat works with other therapies in various hematological malignancies. Hematologic malignancies are cancers that most often begin in the bone marrow or lymph nodes where blood precursors are produced. They are often called blood cancers and fall into three categories: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Tazemetostat has been found to be a safe and effective drug that works in patients with follicular lymphoma where the disease has come back after treatment (known as relapsed) and when other treatment no longer works (known as refractory). Combining tazemetostat with other treatments may work better in treating patients with hematological malignancies and may improve disease response and durability of response.
This is a prospective, single-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-ascending dose (SAD) phase 1 study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of single-ascending doses of BAR 502 in healthy male and female subjects.
NUV-422-04 is an open-label Phase 1b/2 dose escalation and expansion study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of NUV-422 in combination with enzalutamide. The study population is comprised of adults with mCRPC. Patients will self-administer NUV-422 and 160 mg enzalutamide orally in 28-day cycles. Patients will be treated until disease progression, toxicity, withdrawal of consent, or termination of the study.
This phase II trial tests whether panitumumab and pembrolizumab in combination with standard of care chemotherapy before surgery (neoadjuvant) works to shrink tumors in patients with stage III-IV triple negative breast cancer. Panitumumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, carboplatin, doxorubicin, and cyclophosphamide work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving panitumumab and pembrolizumab in combination with neoadjuvant chemotherapy may kill more tumor cells in patients with triple negative breast cancer.
The aim of this study is to see whether the combination of 3 drugs (axitinib, avelumab and palbociclib) is safe and effective in slowing down the growth of advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) in patients that have not received any prior systemic treatment. The names of the study drug involved in this study are/is: - Axitinib - Avelumab - Palbociclib
The goal of this proposal is to use the BeCare App to (1) determine changes in "Feel Good Effect", or "Restoring Physiologic Homeostasis(RPH)"for individuals with relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) before and after starting Natalizumab therapy and (2) Compare BeCare-derived with clinically-derived performance metrics.
The purpose of this open, multicenter pilot trial is to assess the impact of the use of an amniotic membrane on the healing of a persistent epithelial lesion or of a corneal ulcer.
A study of intubated critically ill patients infected with SARS-COV-2 to evaluate the safety and treatment effects of ultraviolet-A (UVA) light administered by a novel device via endotracheal tube in a first-in-human study. Study hypothesis was that respiratory SARS-CoV-2 viral burden would significantly decrease following five (5) days of UVA therapy.
