NCT ID: NCT03103971 Terminated - Clinical trials for Recurrent Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

huJCAR014 CAR-T Cells in Treating Adult Patients With Relapsed or Refractory B-Cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma or Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Start date: November 3, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the side effects of huJCAR014 in treating patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma or acute lymphoblastic leukemia. huJCAR014 CAR-T cells are made in the laboratory by genetically modifying a patient's T cells and may specifically kill cancer cells that have a molecule CD19 on their surfaces. In Stage 1, dose-finding studies will be conducted in 3 cohorts: 1. Aggressive B cell NHL 2. Low burden ALL 3. High burden ALL In Stage 2, studies may be conducted in one or more cohorts to collect further safety, PK, and efficacy information at the huJCAR014 dose level(s) selected in Stage 1 for the applicable cohort(s). There are two separate cohorts for stage 2: 1. Cohort 2A, CAR-naïve (n=10): patients who have never received CD19 CAR-T cell therapy. 2. Cohort 2B, CAR-exposed (n=27): patients who have previously failed CD19 CAR-T cell therapy.

NCT ID: NCT03102060 Terminated - Clinical trials for Graft Versus Host Disease

Gluten Free Diet in Preventing Graft Versus Host Disease in Patients Undergoing Donor Stem Cell Transplant

Start date: August 22, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies how well a gluten free diet works in preventing graft versus host disease in patients who are undergoing a donor stem cell transplant. Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can make an immune response against the body's normal cells (called graft versus host disease). A gluten free diet may decrease intestinal inflammation and graft versus host disease in patients who are undergoing a donor stem cell transplant.

NCT ID: NCT03101540 Terminated - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder in Pregnancy

Cytokines, PUFA Tissue Concentrations and Treatment Selection in Antenatal MDD

Start date: August 2011
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

For a number of reasons women with major depressive disorder often discontinue conventional antidepressants when they become pregnant and prefer not to take them when depressive illness develops in the course of pregnancy. There is now considerable evidence that the administration of the omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), as monotherapy has antidepressant effects. If it could be clearly established as effective such an approach would offer a valuable alternative for woman who are at risk for, or who develop, depressive disorder during pregnancy. Strongly positive placebo-controlled trials of EPA supplementation, though, co-exist with entirely negative ones. No clear reasons for these discrepancies have emerged but one possibility is that the samples studied have differed in the proportion of individuals likely to benefit from EPA supplementation. As there has been no effort to identify such individuals we propose to explore two groups of measures, both relevant to EPA's likely mechanisms of action, as potential tools for identifying individuals likely to benefit this treatment. Hypothesis: Among women who experience major depressive episodes during their first two trimesters of pregnancy, baseline measures of cytokine activity and erythrocyte PUFA concentrations will be associated, in an additive or interactive fashion, with subsequent improvement in depressive symptoms among women taking omega-3 PUFA supplementation.

NCT ID: NCT03101527 Terminated - Clinical trials for Major Depressive Disorder in Pregnancy

Open Trial Determining Antidepressant Effects of Omega-3 Supplementation During Pregnancy

Start date: May 2011
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine if omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids as a monotherapy have antidepressant effects during pregnancy. It will also provide pilot data pertaining to relationships between apparent response to omega-3 monotherapy and both plasma cytokine and erythrocyte essential fatty acid concentrations.

NCT ID: NCT03100123 Terminated - Pregnancy Loss Clinical Trials

AntiPhospholipid Syndrome Low-molecular-weight Heparin Pregnancy Loss Evaluation: The Pilot Study

APPLE
Start date: November 6, 2017
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The APPLE pilot trial is a feasibility study that is a multicentre, open-label, randomized controlled trial. Pregnant women with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and a history of late (≥10 weeks gestation) or recurrent early (2 <10 weeks) pregnancy loss will be recruited. Eligible and consenting subjects will be assigned to one of two study arms: open-label low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) prophylaxis until 37 weeks gestation AND low-dose aspirin (ASA) daily until delivery, or open-label low-dose aspirin daily from randomization until delivery.

NCT ID: NCT03098680 Terminated - Clinical trials for Drug-Related Side Effects and Adverse Reactions

A Study of the Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic Responses in Healthy and Altered Human Cardiovascular Systems

PRIME
Start date: April 24, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Unwanted effects on the cardiovascular system is one of the most common causes of safety related discontinuation of a drug. This study aims to develop an in silico model of the human cardiovascular system that can be used to predict unwanted cardiovascular effects of drugs. This will be achieved through a drug administration study that will generate comprehensive pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data following the administration of the following drugs, all known to have effects on the cardiovascular system. Half the participants will receive: Placebo, Salbutamol, Nicardipine, Dobutamine and the other half will receive Placebo, Phenylephrine, Verapamil, Phentolamine.

NCT ID: NCT03096483 Terminated - Clinical trials for Interventional Vascular Conditions

Clinical Evaluation of the OEC Elite Vascular Mobile Fluoroscopy System

Start date: June 19, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to collect survey data on the use of the OEC Elite Mobile Fluoroscopy System based on the routine clinical use of the device.

NCT ID: NCT03094832 Terminated - Clinical trials for PIK3CA-Related Overgrowth Spectrum (PROS)/Proteus Syndrome

Study of Miransertib (MK-7075) in Participants With PIK3CA-related Overgrowth Spectrum and Proteus Syndrome (MOSAIC) (MK-7075-002)

MOSAIC
Start date: May 16, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open label, Phase 1/2 study of oral miransertib (MK-7075) administered to participants at least 2 years of age with phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase, catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA)-related Overgrowth Spectrum (PROS) and Proteus Syndrome (PS) (MOSAIC).

NCT ID: NCT03094611 Terminated - Clinical trials for Refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Inotuzumab Ozogamicin in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory CD22 Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Start date: November 30, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well inotuzumab ozogamicin works in treating patients with CD22 positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia that has come back or does not respond to treatment. Inotuzumab ozogamicin is a monoclonal antibody, called inotuzumab, linked to a toxic agent called ozogamicin. Inotuzumab attaches to CD22 positive cancer cells in a targeted way and delivers ozogamicin to kill them.
