NCT ID: NCT05810311 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetes Complications

The Effect of Roxadustat on Renal Oxygenation in Diabetes Nephropathy

FOXTROT
Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The study will investigate if treatment with Roxadustat improves kidney oxygenation in diabetic patients with nephropathy receiving treatment for renal anemia, compared to patients receiving treatment with darbepoetin alpha. Participants will be randomized to either treatment, and receive equal care for renal anemia. Kidney oxygenation will be examined before treatment start and after 24 weeks using BOLD-MRI (blood oxygen level-defendant MRI), a non-invasive method available for measurement of tissue oxygenation levels that is comparable with direct invasive measurement of partial oxygen pressure. Blood and urin samples will be collected in connection to these visits. The primary endpoint is the change in medullary and cortical R2* (inversely proportional to the tissue oxygenation content) after 24 weeks. Secondary endpoints will be albuminuria and urinary levels of ROS (evaluated by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy with CPH spin probes).

NCT ID: NCT05808894 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Laparoscopic Pancreaticoduodenectomy

Extended Pancreatic Neck Transection Versus Conventional Pancreatic Neck Transection During Laparoscopic Pancreaticoduodenectomy( LPDEXCEPT)

LPDEXCEPT
Start date: August 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators conduct the clinical randomized controlled trial to evaluate the superiority of extended pancreatic neck transection during laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy (LPD). The participants in the study group obtain extended pancreatic neck transection during LPD, while participants in the control group conventional pancreatic neck transection. The purposes of this study include: 1.Primary objective: To compare the incidence of clinically relevant pancreatic fistula (grades B-C according International Study Group on Pancreatic Surgery) between the study group and the control group. 2.Secondary objective: To compare the incidence of postoperative morbidity (Clavien-Dindo score ≥3)between the two groups. To compare the location of pancreatic duct and the surgical performance of pancreaticojejunostomy between the two groups.

NCT ID: NCT05807893 Not yet recruiting - Brain Metastases Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Serplulimab Plus Bevacizumab and Chemotherapy in NSCLC Patients With Brain Metastases

SUPER BRAIN
Start date: April 14, 2023
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A multicenter, single-arm, open study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Serplulimab in combination with bevacizumab and first-line chemotherapy in driver negative non-squamous NSCLC patients with brain metastases

NCT ID: NCT05807802 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Liver Transplant; Complications

FSTL1 and PPCs on Pediatric Within LDLT:a Prospective Cohort Analysis

Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this observational study is to identify the association between FSTL1 elevation and acute lung injury (ALI) after pediatric liver transplantation. The main questions it aims to answer what the risk factors are for ALI in children and to evaluate the predictive value for the development of ALI.Participants will be divided into non-ALI group and ALI group according to whether they had ALI in a week after liver transplantation.Researchers will compare the difference between the two groups and use multivariate logistic regression analysis to screen the risk factors of ALI, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was used to evaluate the predictive efficacy of risk factors.

NCT ID: NCT05807776 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Resectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Tislelizumab Monotherapy or Combined With Lenvatinib as Neoadjuvant Therapy for Resectable Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase II prospective study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Tislelizumab monotherapy or combined with lenvatinib as neoadjuvant therapy for resectable hepatocellular carcinoma.

NCT ID: NCT05806684 Not yet recruiting - Premature Clinical Trials

Hyperbilirubinemia and Retinopathy of Prematurity in Preterm Infants: a Retrospective Study.

biliROP
Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this retrospective observational study is to [learn about the correlation between hyperbilirubinemia and retinopathy of prematurity in preterm infants. The main question it aims to answer are: • To evaluate the possible effect of neonatal jaundice linked to the presumed protective antioxidant action of bilirubin on the development of ROP, compared to a control group which, although presenting ROP, did not develop jaundice.

NCT ID: NCT05805293 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS)

HVNI Versus NIV In Management Of Acute Hypercapnic Respiratory Failure In OHS

Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

1. Assessment of benefits of HVNI in management of obesity hypoventilation syndrome complicated with acute hypercapnic respiratory failure. 2. Compare the value, safety and effectiveness of HVNI and NIV in patients with obesity hypoventilation syndrome complicated with acute hypercapnic respiratory failure.
