NCT ID: NCT02887651 Recruiting - Surgery Clinical Trials

Cavity Boost Radiation Therapy vs. Observation in Cerebral Metastases After Complete Surgical Resection

C-O-MET
Start date: November 14, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a local fractionated radiation therapy achieves a better local tumor control after complete surgical metastases resection at 6 month as compared to observation alone. Further it should be evaluated if cognitive functioning and quality of life is similar in both groups.

NCT ID: NCT02886585 Active, not recruiting - Brain Metastases Clinical Trials

Pembrolizumab In Central Nervous System Metastases

Start date: October 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This research study is studying Pembrolizumab as a possible treatment for this diagnosis for metastases in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord).

NCT ID: NCT02886572 Completed - Clinical trials for Brain Metastases, Adult

SIMT Stereotactic Radiosurgery Outcomes Study

SIMT
Start date: January 25, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of Single Isocenter Multi-target Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SIMT SRS) in patients with four or more brain metastases

NCT ID: NCT02886104 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Secondary Malignant Neoplasm of Liver

Comparison of Hepatectomy and Local Ablation for Resectable Synchronous and Metachronous Colorectal Liver Metastasis

HELARC
Start date: August 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The surgical and local ablation strategy for the treatment of resectable synchronous and metachronous colorectal liver metastases(CRLM) has not still been defined. The purpose of this study is to compare two treatment strategies in which simultaneous resection of both primary and secondary tumor of synchronous CRLM(SCRLM) and resection of metachronous CRLM(MCRLM) is compared with resection of primary tumor and ablation of secondary tumor in SCRLM and ablation of MCRLM. Endpoints include the rate of severe complications and survival.

NCT ID: NCT02882984 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV EGFR Mutated NSCL With Brain Metastases

Hypofractionated Brain Radiation In EGFR Mutated Adenocarcinoma Cranial Disease (Hybrid)

Hybrid
Start date: March 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A multi-center phase III randomized controlled study to evaluate the efficacy of Hypofractionated SRS (HFSRS) along with EGFR-TKI in patients with brain metastasis from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Assuming that HFSRS is not inferior to EGFR-TKI concurrent with whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT), the primary end point is intracranial PFS (iPFS), while secondary outcomes included overall survival (OS), evaluation of cognitive function, quality of life (QoL) and adverse events.

NCT ID: NCT02882659 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Dendritic Killer Cell-based Immunotherapy for Solid Tumors

Start date: August 2014
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety of autologous dendritic killer cell (DKC) in patients with metastatic solid tumor and to evaluate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of DKC. The primary endpoint of safety evaluation includes physical examination, assessment of vital sign, laboratory test, concomitant medication, and adverse event (AE). The secondary endpoints regarding efficacy includes the generation of tumor specific immune response by detecting CD3+ CD8+ CD69+ IFN-gamma+ T cells, and the improvement of quality of life

NCT ID: NCT02880943 Active, not recruiting - Bone Metastases Clinical Trials

Dose-finding, Safety and Efficacy Study of Radium-223 Dichloride (XOFIGO) in RCC Patients With Bone Metastases. (EIFFEL)

EIFFEL
Start date: October 2016
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, multicentre, open-label, phase I/II study to evaluate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), and the most successful dose (MSD) of XOFIGO®, in renal cancer patients with metastases to bone, without (Group A) or with (Group B) visceral metastases.

NCT ID: NCT02879682 Completed - Glioma Clinical Trials

nTMS for Motor Mapping of Rolandic Lesions

Motorstim
Start date: August 2016
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

To compare presurgical motor mapping by navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation for surgery (nTMS) of rolandic lesions to surgery with mapping without implementing these data into neuronavigation as control. Primary objective: Permanently new postoperative deficit is lower when the preoperative motor mapping is available to the surgeon

NCT ID: NCT02876991 Recruiting - Bone Metastasis Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Sodium Fluoride PET in the Identification of Bone Metastases in Patients Having Undergone a Choline PET for Occult Recurrence of Prostatic Adenocarcinoma

FNa-CHOLINE
Start date: February 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose is to evaluate if sodium fluoride PET in patients having already undergone a choline PET negative for bone extension (non-metastatic status) modifies the status of patients concerning the existence or not of bone metastases. Secondary purposes are: - To evaluate if detection of bone metastasis by sodium fluoride PET, not detected by choline PET, leads to change of treatment - To evaluate inter-technique concordance (choline vs sodium fluoride PET) of results (metastatic status and number of lesions) - To evaluate the inter-judge concordance of interpretation of sodium fluoride PET - To study the discordance of metastatic status of 2 techniques.

NCT ID: NCT02876731 Completed - Cancer Clinical Trials

Comparison of NaF PET-CT and Diffusion MRI in the Diagnosis of Bone Metastases (IMMETAOS)

IMMETAOS
Start date: July 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Prospective, monocentric, comparative, non randomised Primary objective : - to compare the diagnostic accuracy of sodium fluoride PET-CT and MRI using the conventional block and diffusion sequence in the search for bone metastases Secondary objectives : - compare accuracy of MRI diffusion and conventional MRI - explore the evolution of the results of the different types of imaging over time or under treatment for patients with repeated examinations at 6 months
