Filter by:The aim of this study is a comparative evaluation of progression of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary artery disease after isolated CABG and CABG combined with pulmonary vein isolation. Hypothesis of the study - patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease after CABG in combination with isolation of the pulmonary veins have a better outcomes for the progression of AF compared with patients undergoing isolated CABG.
Purpose. Comparison of outcomes in patients underwent CABG combined with left atrial and biatrial radiofrequency ablation of long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation. Hypothesis of the study - patients with long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease after CABG in combination with biatrial RFA have a better outcomes for the freedom of AF compared with patients undergoing left atrial RFA during CABG.
The aim of the CARDIOBASE Bern PCI registry is to collect baseline clinical and procedural data as well as to assess the clinical outcomes of all patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) at Bern University Hospital. All patients undergoing PCI with or without stent implantation will be prospectively registered. Device use is according to the decision of the treating physician and independent of this registry. At hospital discharge and one year, the following outcomes will be assessed: death, cardiac death, myocardial infarction, stent thrombosis, repeat revascularisation, stent thrombosis, stroke, bleeding, renal failure and vascular complications.
There are many risk prediction models. And their estimates are different. This study aimed to investigate the differences between the estimates of Fuwai and Reynolds risk model in Chinese, and investigate the reason for the differences.
The purpose of this study is to determine effects of combination therapy with rosuvastatin and fenofibrate on atheromatous plaques and its tissue characteristics of de novo coronary lesions with intermediate stenosis in patient with coronary artery disease, compared with rosuvastatin alone therapy.
In-stent restenosis is a major reason of coronary heart disease recurrence .Even in drug eluting stent(DES), Restenosis rate could be up to 10% in diabetes and complex lesions though it was about 3-5% in general. It is particularly important that in-stent restenosis after implantation was early diagnosed and detected. The evaluation of OCT imaging is more accurate for narrow area calculation, more clear for narrow organization structure and more specific for detecting tissue types. It is currently the best way for restenosis histologic diagnosis. But it has many weakness such as the higher cost,an invasive test, expensive instrument, relatively complicated to operate, and etc.In this study, OCT image was regard as the "gold standard" of stent restenosis. The improvement of spatial resolution of Gemstone CT can effectively improve the imaging quality and the measurement's accuracy of coronary artery stents. The diagnostic value of in-stent restenosis of Gemstone CT is higher than of the 320-detector row spiral CT. To a certain extent, the gemstone CT can replace OCT for examining the in-stent restenosis. This study will examine the degree of in-stent restenosis by the gemstone CT and the 320-detector row spiral CT and compare the two ways on the basis of the result of OCT.
A prospective, multicenter study is preformed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of NOYA CoCr biodegradable coating sirolimus-eluting stents in treating coronary artery lesions.
A total of 621 consecutive male and female subjects, without established CAD, referred to exercise stress testing (EST) due to 1) chest pain syndromes or equivocal/equivalent angina with intermediate pretest probability for CAD; 2) , or asymptomatic subjects with diabetes mellitus who are referred EST for risk assessment prior to initiation of an exercise program. To validate the diagnostic performance of the HeartTrends device for the detection and ruling out of myocardial ischemia in a population of subjects who are currently referred for cardiovascular evaluation using EST. Prospective multicenter single-armed study, assessing the diagnostic accuracy of HRV analysis by the HeartTrends device for the detection of myocardial ischemia, as determined by stress echocardiography.
There are several physiologic parameters in evaluating cardiovascular disease. This study will reveal which parameter is the most proper value in predicting disease severity and risk factors of patients.
Primary goal of the registry is to collect prospective data on patients undergoing coronary angiography in Mainz. Following amendment of the procol, this study will also include patients who received an Aborb bioresorbable scaffold for the therapy of de novo stenoses.
