The association between serum progesterone (P) levels, measured on the day of ovulation trigger, and the outcome of in vitro fertilization cycles, has been one of the major controversies in the field of ovarian stimulation endocrinology. This is a single-center retrospective cohort study. Study duration period is from January 2012 to December 2016. All fresh embryo transfer (ET) both at cleavage stage and blastocyst stage, performed in Humanitas Fertility Center during the study period, were included.

Clinical Study of in Situ Regeneration of Endometrium

This randomized controlled clinical study is carried out to explore the optimal treatment method and best indications for thin endometrium.

Follicular Fluid Fetuins in in Vitro Fertilization

This study aims to investigate whether follicular fluid concentrations of fetuin A and fetuin B are associated with the clinical pregnancy and live birth rates in in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles.Twenty-nine women with poor ovarian reserve (poor responders) and 33 women with polycystic ovary syndrome (hyper responders) who consecutively underwent IVF at a private hospital between May 2018 and February 2019.Fetuin A and fetuin B in follicular fluid were significantly lower in women who had clinical pregnancy than women who had no clinical pregnancy (p=0.001 for both)

Turner Syndrome Minipuberty Study

Rationale: Due to accelerated germ cell loss, infertility is a major problem in girls with Turner syndrome (TS). Therefore, cryopreservation of ovarian tissue or oocytes before exhaustion of the ovarian reserve may preserve fertility in patients with TS. However, in the majority of females with TS , the ovarian reserve is exhausted before the age of menarche. Early markers indicating and predicting the ovarian reserve are necessary. During mid-childhood the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis is quiescent and gonadotropins are usually unmeasurable. Nonetheless, this axis is active during infancy. Therefore, gonadotropins are measurable with peak values at 3 months of age and with lower (but still measurable) values at 9 months of age, in a period called the minipuberty. The aim of this study is to find markers of ovarian capacity, during the minipuberty, in order to predict ovarian reserve in the future. Objective: The hormonal range of LH, FSH, AMH, inhibin B, testosterone and estradiol in girls with TS during the minipuberty and the relation of the hormone serum levels with the karyotype. Study design: A prospective, cohort study with a duration of 3 years. Study population: Girls with a pre- or perinatal diagnosis TS who are born in a medical centre in the Netherlands during the duration of the study Main study parameters/endpoints: Serum levels of FSH, LH, AMH, inhibin B, testosterone and estradiol at the age of 3 and 9 months.

SIRT-1 Antagonism for Endometrial Receptivity

Progesterone resistance is mediated through epigenetic modification through SirT1 activation and is thought to contribute to infertility and progression of endometriosis. Endometriosis is a leading cause of unexplained IVF failure secondary to inflammatory changes that induce SirT1. The current study is designed to investigate a small molecule inhibitor of SirT1, in the clinical setting of In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer. The SAFER trial will compare EX-527 to placebo in a randomized, double-blind trial. Primary endpoints include Live Birth Rate (LBR) and secondary outcomes include pregnancy rate (PR), miscarriage rate (MR) and implantation failure rate.
