Filter by:This study is to investigate correlation between Carotid Intima Media Thickness (cIMT) and several factors such as; hs C-reactive protein (CRP), HbA1c, lipid profile in Korean diabetic patients with atherosclerosis. Total 360 patients will be enrolled through 6 sites.
This Phase 2 proof-of-concept study will assess the lipid regulating efficacy and safety of ETC-1002 in subjects with hypercholesterolemia and either normal or elevated triglycerides.
Randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, 12-week, active-controlled study of pitavastatin 4 mg daily(QD) vs. pravastatin 40 mg daily(QD) in subjects with primary hyperlipidemia or mixed dyslipidemia.
The current study is proposed to investigate the pattern of dyslipidemia and of lipid treatment practices in patients in India experiencing their first acute cardiovascular event and the extent of residual dyslipidemia after 12 weeks of treatment with statins. Dyslipidemia definitions are per the National Cholesterol Education Program - Adult Treatment Panel III (NCEP-ATP III).
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of repeated doses of PF-04950615 (RN316) in study volunteers with hypercholesterolemia. PF-04950615 is an investigational drug that is currently being studied as a lipid lowering agent.
This is a cross-sectional, epidemiological study to determine the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, smoking, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus and hypertension in patients attending General Practice clinics in the Africa and Middle East region. A total of 4300 patients will be evaluated. In patients who are found to have previously been diagnosed with cardiovascular (CV) risk factors such as dyslipidemia or hypertension, the level of control of their respective conditions will also be evaluated.
The present study will assess the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) lowering effect of colesevelam as an adjunct to niacin for the improvement of lipids and glycemic control in dyslipidemic subjects with impaired fasting glucose.
The purpose of the study is to establish the proportion of patients on lipid-lowering pharmacological treatment reaching the LDL-C goals according to the All-Russian Scientific Cardiology Society guidelines/ the 4th Joint European Task Force guidelines.
This study investigates the safety, pharmacokinetics and effects of GSK1292263 when taken alone or when co-dosed with atorvastatin to subjects with dyslipidemia.
This 15-19 week study is being conducted by GW Pharma Ltd as a pilot study in order to determine the efficacy and safety of two cannabinoids: GWP42004 and GWP42003 alone, or in combination in patients with Type 2 diabetes. This is the first study to determine whether the study medications have a positive benefit for subjects on their cholesterol levels, body weight, liver fat content and other metabolic parameters compared with a placebo medication.
