This study was designed to evaluate the change in triglyceride glucose index, one of the atherosclerotic markers, in patients with type 2 DM followed in the Internal Medicine Clinic of Samsun University, Samsun Training, and Research Hospital. Methods: The data of the patients who were followed up for at least 3 months by making a retrospective file review will be recorded and analyzed. It is planned to start the study following the ethics committee's approval.

CMR in T2DM: The NSR Cohort

This study aims to investigate the myocardial phenotype of patients with type 2 diabetes. From 2016-2019 the investigators recruited a cohort of 296 subjects with type 2 diabetes. All subjects underwent clinical examinations including a gadolinium contrast cardiac MRI. The current study is a clinical follow-up study of the subjects, thus, the investigators will invite all participants to a reevaluation with cardiac MRI. Additionally, the investigators will aim at recruiting additionally 400 patients with type 2 diabetes. The aim it to characterize the phenotype of diabetic cardiomyopathy. Uniquely using cardiac MRI we can measure myocardial microvascular function, myocardial localised and diffuse fibrosis in addition to the quantification of myocardial structure and systolic and diastolic function.

The goal of this observational study is to test if regular meetings (multidisciplinary team conferences) between several different medical doctors can work well in everyday hospital life. The doctor meetings are meant to discuss patients who have both diabetes and other chronic conditions at the same time. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How can the concept of these meetings work in everyday hospital life? - What are the patients and doctors getting out of the meetings? Patients with diabetes and concurrent other diseases will be asked: - if they want their case discussed on the doctor meeting - to answer a set of questions about their well-being and symptoms before and 6 months after the meeting - if the research group can store their information for the study Doctors participating in the meetings are asked to answer questions about what they have learned in the meetings.

The purpose of the study is to learn about the best way to enhance pharmacy-related care for diabetes self-management. This research is being done because we want to improve use of medicines and diabetes management among Black and Hispanic adults with type 2 diabetes and find out which of type of support may improve diabetes self-management for Black and Hispanic adults. Participants will be assigned to one of 4 groups, and will either: - receive care as usual; or, - receive added medicine management support from a pharmacist; or, - receive support from a Community Health Worker (CHW) to address life challenges; or, - receive both the pharmacist medicine management and the CHW support

Support-t Online Training in Youth Living With Type 1 Diabetes Transitioning to Adult Care

The investigators will conduct a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to examine how an online training and peer support platform could help the preparation to transition to adult care. Among 14-16 year old youth with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), the investigators aim to assess the effect of an online training and peer support platform (Support-t) integrated in usual care, compared with usual care on Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), adverse outcomes and psychosocial measures during the preparation for transition to adult care. The investigators will conduct a multi-site, parallel group, blinded (outcome assessors, data analysts), superiority RCT of adolescents with T1D (14-16 years of age) followed at one of 4 university teaching hospital-based pediatric diabetes clinics in the province of Quebec.
