Bioequivalence of Two Liraglutide Formulations in Healthy Volunteers

Start date: January 2007
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of this trial is to test for bioequivalence of the phase 3a formulation of liraglutide (formulation 4) and the liraglutide formulation planned for phase 3b trials (final formulation 4).

NCT ID: NCT01514487 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

Comparison of Three Liraglutide Formulations in Healthy Volunteers

Start date: January 13, 2005
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This trial is conducted in Oceania. The aim of this trial is to test for bioequivalence between each of the two new liraglutide formulations at pH 7.9 and 8.15 and the planned Phase 3 formulation at pH 7.7.

NCT ID: NCT01514305 Completed - Diabetes Clinical Trials

Observational Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness and Safety Study of the Dexcom G4™ Continuous Glucose Monitoring System

Start date: November 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the Dexcom G4 System when used as an adjuvant to blood glucose testing. Device performance will be primarily evaluated in terms of the proportion of glucose values within a pre-specified range compared to reference values. Safety data of the G4 System will also be collected vis-a-vis adverse event reporting characterized by the incidence and severity of Serious Adverse Device Events, and Adverse Device Events experienced by study participants.

NCT ID: NCT01514292 Completed - Diabetes Clinical Trials

Effectiveness and Safety Study of the Dexcom G4™ Continuous Glucose Monitoring System

Start date: December 2011
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the Dexcom G4 System when used as an adjuvant to blood glucose testing over a 7-day period in people >18 years-old with diabetes mellitus. The primary objective is to characterize the System performance with respect to laboratory reference venous sample measurements. The device performance will be primarily evaluated in terms of point and rate accuracy of the G4 System in reference to YSI. Safety of the G4 System will be characterized by Adverse Device Effects and Serious Adverse Device Effects experienced by study participants.

NCT ID: NCT01513798 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

Diet and Exercise in Type 2 Diabetes - a Randomized Controlled Trial

Start date: January 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators investigate if combined progressive aerobic training and resistance training improve metabolic control and fat mass in patients with type 2 diabetes who are eating a modified paleolithic diet. The investigators randomize 40 participants to two groups: 1) Modified paleolithic diet and exercise under observation 3 sessions/week, 2) Modified paleolithic diet and general advice about exercise. The investigators primary hypothesis is that in patients with type 2 diabetes decreases fat mass more with progressive exercise under observation and a modified paleolithic diet than with general advice about exercise and a modified paleolithic diet.

NCT ID: NCT01513590 Completed - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2
