Expanding the Pool in Orthotopic Heart Transplantation

This is an open-label, pilot trial to test the safety and efficacy of transplantation of hearts from HCV seropositive non-viremic (HCV Ab+/NAT-) and HCV seropositive viremic (HCV Ab+/NAT+) donors to HCV seronegative recipients on the heart transplant waitlist. Treatment and prophylaxis will be administered, using a transmission-triggered approach for the first scenario (HCV Ab+/NAT- donors, arm 1) and a prophylaxis approach for the later scenario (HCV Ab+/NAT+ donors, arm 2).

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of pembrolizumab (MK-3745) in the neoadjuvant (prior to surgery) or adjuvant (after surgery) treatment of previously untreated adults with gastric and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma. The primary study hypotheses are that: - Neoadjuvant and adjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy, followed by adjuvant pembrolizumab is superior to neoadjuvant and adjuvant placebo plus chemotherapy, followed by adjuvant placebo in terms of Event-free Survival (EFS) based on Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors Version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1), and - Neoadjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy is superior to neoadjuvant placebo plus chemotherapy in terms of rate of Pathological Complete Response (pathCR) at the time of surgery. With Amendment 10, upon study completion, participants will be discontinued and may be enrolled in an extension study.

This is an open label, non-randomized, observational pilot study to evaluate a model of care for treatment of hepatitis C in people with ongoing injection drug use. Participants will be treated with direct-acting antivirals (DAA) as per standard of care and will concomittantly be offered pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV prevention and buprenorphine for treatment of opioid use disorder when clinically indicated.

This study compares molecular breast imaging (MBI) and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) in screening patients with dense breast tissue. Breast imaging may help doctors find breast cancer sooner, when it may be easier to treat. Molecular breast imaging (MBI) uses an injection of a small amount of radioactive material that is taken up in tissues of the body that are actively changing, such as breast cancer. A specialized camera, called a gamma camera, takes pictures of the gamma rays emitted by this material. MBI may detect cancers that are not visible on mammograms. This study may help researchers determine how MBI testing compares to DBT screening.

The purpose of this study is to test the safety of a combination of three drugs, pembrolizumab, guadecitabine and mocetinostat. Pembrolizumab is a drug given by vein and all patients will receive the same dose. Guadecitabine and mocetinostat will be given at different doses to find out what effects, if any, they have on treating your cancer and side effects.
