Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy Followed by Surgery in Treating Patients With Stage I-IIIA Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

This pilot clinical trial studies the effects of stereotactic body radiation therapy followed by surgery in treating patients with stage I-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer. Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a method of radiation that uses imaging to precisely locate a tumor and then deliver very high radiation doses to the tumor site in order to limit normal tissue toxicity or damage.

Pharmacogenomics IND EXEMPT SNP Clinical Study - Abiraterone and Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms

The usual approach group, 300 double blind random group separated PC patients currently used the Combined Chemotherapy on ZYTIGA - abiraterone acetate tablet, film coated plus RAYOS - prednisone tablet, delayed release plus ORGOVYX - relugolix tablet, film coated, it will try to look for the relationship between the Abiraterone therapeutic efficacy and the CYP17 SNP Genotyping, and the relationship between the Abiraterone therapeutic safety and the SULT2A1 SNP Genotyping, based on Oxford precisely sequencing drug targets' genes. This study will evaluate the use of intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) at a dose of 1g/Kg/body weight given every three weeks for 6 infusions in pediatric subjects ages 4 - 16 years with moderate to severe PANS. The study will compare biomarkers and behavioral scales before treatment, after the last infusion, 2 months, and at a minimum 6 months post-treatment.

Nivolumab for the Reversal of Squamous Dysplasia in High Risk Current and Former Smokers

The goal of this clinical research study is to determine whether the PD-1 inhibitor (Programmed cell death protein 1) nivolumab improves premalignant bronchial dysplastic lesions in subjects that are at high risk for the development of lung cancer, including those with a prior smoking history, or history of lung cancer or head and neck cancer. The safety and tolerability of nivolumab will also be studied.

Effects of Mobility Dose on Discharge Disposition in Critically Ill Stroke Patients

The primary aim of the study is to assess the mobility dose in neurocritical care patients with ischemic stroke or intracranial hemorrhage and its effects on discharge disposition and patient outcomes. The investigators hypothesize that patients' mobilization dose in the intensive care unit (ICU) predicts discharge disposition, 90 day Barthel Index and other outcomes like muscle wasting (expressed as decrease in rectus femoris cross sectional area (RF-CSA) in the paretic and non-paretic limb measured by bedside ultrasound), and ICU length of stay (LOS).

Brain Function in Adolescent Eating Disorders and Healthy Peers

This study of adolescent eating disorders (ED) will examine the association of temperament-based classifications, brain activation during incentive processing, and ED symptoms at time of scan and 1 year later to better understand the neurobiology and symptoms of ED. We will recruit 150 females currently ill with an ED and 50 controls ages 14-17 to investigate how temperaments reflecting greater inhibition, impulsivity, or effortful control correspond to 1) clinical symptoms and 2) the brain's response to anticipation and outcome of salient stimuli, and 3) by collecting follow-up clinical data one year later, identify how temperament-based subtypes predict ED symptom change (e.g., clinical prediction). Data collection will rely on a technology called functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
