NCT ID: NCT03633331 Active, not recruiting - HER2/Neu Negative Clinical Trials

Palbociclib and Letrozole or Fulvestrant in Treating Patients With Estrogen Receptor Positive, HER2 Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer

Start date: August 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well palbociclib and letrozole or fulvestrant works in treating patients aged 70 years and older with estrogen receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Palbociclib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as letrozole or fulvestrant, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving palbociclib and letrozole or fulvestrant may work better in treating patients with breast cancer. The trial will explore factors other than chronologic age that can affect toxicity rates as identified using a cancer-specific geriatric assessment.

NCT ID: NCT03632941 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate Concurrent VRP-HER2 Vaccination and Pembrolizumab for Patients With Breast Cancer

Start date: March 1, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this phase II study, study subjects will receive the VRP-HER2 immunizations plus pembrolizumab. There will be an initial Safety Arm during which subjects will receive the VRP-HER2 immunizations plus pembrolizumab. If there is no dose limiting toxicity in the Safety Arm, then subjects will be randomized into 3 arms. They will undergo a biopsy of their tumor and peripheral blood draw for immune cell analyses and be assigned to the applicable arm of the study. Arm A will consist of the the VRP-HER2 immunizations; Arm B will consist of pembrolizumab; Arm C will consist of the VRP-HER2 immunizations plus pembrolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT03631992 Active, not recruiting - Development, Child Clinical Trials

Snacks, Smiles and Taste Preferences

Start date: October 9, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The research study is designed is to determine whether children's acceptance of low sugar snacks, most preferred level of sweet and salty taste, and dietary intake of added sugars changes after repeated exposure to snacks lower in sweetness when compared to the control group.

NCT ID: NCT03631745 Active, not recruiting - Stigma, Social Clinical Trials

Delivering Church-based Interventions to Reduce Stigma and Mental Health Treatment Disparities Among Latinos

Start date: February 9, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is a cluster randomized controlled trial of a Latino church-based intervention in Los Angeles and Riverside Counties. This study aims to leverage the collective resources of Latino religious congregations and the National Alliance on Mental Illness to test the effectiveness of a multi-component intervention directed at reducing stigma, increasing mental health literacy, and improving access to mental health services.

NCT ID: NCT03631706 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

M7824 Versus Pembrolizumab as a First-line (1L) Treatment in Participants With Programmed Death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) Expressing Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

Start date: October 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of bintrafusp alfa (M7824) compared with pembrolizumab in participants with advanced NSCLC with high PD-L1-tumor expression, with no epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) translocation. The Phase III adaptive design allows for the option to recruit up to 584 patients based on pre-specified rules.

NCT ID: NCT03631641 Active, not recruiting - Lynch Syndrome Clinical Trials

Nivolumab in Preventing Colon Adenomas in Participants With Lynch Syndrome and a History of Partial Colectomy

Start date: August 21, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well nivolumab works in preventing colon adenomas in participants with Lynch syndrome and a history of surgery to remove part of the colon. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

NCT ID: NCT03631472 Active, not recruiting - Chronic Bronchitis Clinical Trials

Gala Early Feasibility Study of RheOx

Gala_EFS
Start date: July 6, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

An early feasibility study (EFS) to assess the safety and clinical utility of RheOx on patients with chronic bronchitis in the United States.

NCT ID: NCT03631199 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab Plus Platinum-based Doublet Chemotherapy With or Without Canakinumab in Previously Untreated Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-squamous and Squamous NSCLC Subjects

CANOPY-1
Start date: December 21, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase III study of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with or without canakinumab in previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous and squamous NSCLC subjects. The study will assess primarily the safety and tolerability (safety run-in part) of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with canakinumab and then the efficacy (double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled part) of pembrolizumab plus platinum-based doublet chemotherapy with or without canakinumab.

NCT ID: NCT03631043 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Smoldering Plasma Cell Myeloma

Personalized Vaccine in Treating Patients With Smoldering Multiple Myeloma

Start date: December 21, 2018
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This early phase I trial studies the side effects of personalized vaccine in treating patients with smoldering multiple myeloma. Vaccines made from a person's blood and bone marrow may help the body build an effective immune response to kill cancer cells.
