There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of temperature-sensitive radiofrequency ablation (RFA) immediately before biliary stent placement on duration of biliary stent patency and re-intervention free survival. This is a research study meant to collect information to help other patients with malignant biliary strictures in the future.
With the increasing number of adolescents and young adults (AYA) experiencing depression and anxiety, paired with the lack of time, access, and funding towards social services, AYA need a mental health intervention that is affordable and easily accessible. A single-session intervention (SSI), Project Personality, was developed to improve youth growth mindset and reduce symptoms of internalizing problems, such as anxiety and depression. The purpose of this pilot study is to determine the feasibility of an SSI in adolescents and young adults at a reproductive community health center.
To assess the potential for successfully using technology-assisted in-home oncology care to provide improved care coordination and management, and appropriate referral to treatment for patients receiving bone marrow transplant (BMT) or chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy (CAR-T). The technology-assisted in-home oncology care program includes remote patient monitoring (RPM), telemedicine, and home-based health care services.
PRIME-Ataxia is a randomized controlled trial that aims to determine the feasibility and efficacy of an 8-week telehealth intervention of high intensity aerobic exercise prior to balance training compared to an 8-week telehealth intervention of low intensity exercise prior to balance training in people with spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). The investigators additionally aim to explore changes in motor skill learning on a novel motor skill task in a sub-group of participants pre and post intervention.
The goal of this clinical trial is to examine the effects of slow breathing breathing on markers of stress in healthy college aged individuals. The breathing intervention is performed for five minutes pre and post a virtual reality active shooter drill. The main question to answer is: 1) what is the impact of a controlled breathing intervention and virtual reality active shooter drill on markers of subjective and biological stress?
The goal of this quantitative experimental study is to compare two occupational therapy interventions intended to improve functional skills. The main questions it aims to answer are: Question 1: Do preschool children who participate in occupational therapy intervention designed to promote integration of the TLR reflex in conjunction with fine and gross motor intervention demonstrate improved integration of the TLR reflex in clinical assessment, compared to children who participate in fine and gross motor intervention only for an equal amount of time? Question 2: Do preschool children who participate in occupational therapy intervention designed to promote integration of the TLR reflex in conjunction with fine and gross motor intervention demonstrate improved integration of the TLR reflex in clinical assessment, compared to children who participate in fine and gross motor intervention only for an equal amount of time? Participants will participate in either a therapy program consisting of either fine and gross motor treatment in conjunction with reflex integration treatment, or fine and gross motor treatment only. If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare the group recieving reflex integration in conjunction with fine and gross motor treatment and the fine and gross motor only group to see if one is more effective at integrating the reflex and/or improving functional skills.
This study is being completed to pilot prevention methods to promote wellness and reduce risky behaviors, including the use of substances such as cannabis. This study will help researchers learn about ways of delivering this information that is both appealing and helpful to young adults who use mobile apps.
This is a Phase 1b open-label, multiple dose/schedule sequential study to determine the safety and efficacy of the oxidative phosphorylation (OxPhos) pathway inhibitor ME-344 in combination with bevacizumab in subjects with recurrent mCRC.
The purpose of this study is to find and confirm the dose and asses the reactogenicity, safety and immune response of GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) messenger RNA (mRNA)-based multivalent seasonal influenza vaccine (GSK4382276A) candidates administered in healthy younger and older adults (OA).
This is a non-randomized, open-label, single arm, self-controlled study of XP-8121 (levothyroxine sodium) to determine a target dose conversion factor from stably dosed oral levothyroxine to XP-8121 (levothyroxine sodium) in patients with hypothyroidism and to assess the safety and tolerability of XP-8121(levothyroxine sodium) after once weekly subcutaneous injections. This study includes the following periods: Screening, Titration Period, and Maintenance Period. The study will conclude with an End of Maintenance Visit or Early Termination (ET) Visit.
