NCT ID: NCT02900222 Terminated - Hydrocephalus Clinical Trials

Study of Choroid Plexus Cauterization in Patients With Hydrocephalus

Start date: September 1, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether endoscopic choroid plexus coagulation is safe in adult patients with communicating hydrocephalus and risk factors for complications from the standard surgical treatment. It may also help determine whether the endoscopic choroid plexus coagulation is effective in treating your communicating hydrocephalus. The Investigators hope that this research will allow us to place fewer shunts in patients with conditions similar to yours, avoiding complications.

NCT ID: NCT02899728 Terminated - Clinical trials for Extensive Stage Lung Small Cell Carcinoma

Olaparib, Cediranib Maleate, and Standard Chemotherapy in Treating Patients With Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: March 30, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well olaparib, cediranib maleate, and standard chemotherapy work in treating patients with small cell lung cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin, cisplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Olaparib and cediranib maleate may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Olaparib, cediranib maleate, and standard chemotherapy may work better in treating patients with small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02899650 Terminated - Muscles Clinical Trials

Rates of Recovery From Strenuous Exercise in Physically Active Older Adults

Start date: August 1, 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study to determine if older adults who are healthy and physically active (i.e., Masters athletes) demonstrate slower rates of recovery from unaccustomed strenuous exercise of downhill running than younger peers.

NCT ID: NCT02899533 Terminated - Clinical trials for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

[18F]FES PET/CT in PAH

Start date: July 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study positron emission tomography (PET/CT) imaging will be used to evaluate evaluation of estrogen receptor heterogeneity and functionality in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) using the investigational radiotracer [18F]fluoroestradiol (FES).

NCT ID: NCT02899156 Terminated - Hypoactive Delirium Clinical Trials

Flumazenil for Hypoactive Delirium Secondary to Benzodiazepine Exposure

FLYP
Start date: March 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Delirium within the intensive care unit (ICU) is associated with poor outcomes such as increased mortality, ICU and hospital length of stay (LOS), and time on mechanical ventilation. Benzodiazepine (BZD) exposure is an independent risk factor for development of delirium. Reversal of hypoactive delirium represents a potential opportunity for reducing duration of delirium and subsequent complications. This is a single-center randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of critically ill adult patients with benzodiazepine-associated hypoactive delirium. The hypothesis is that flumazenil continuous infusion may reverse hypoactive delirium associated with BZD exposure and thereby reduce duration of delirium and ICU LOS.

NCT ID: NCT02898753 Terminated - Pompe Disease Clinical Trials

VAL-1221 Delivered Intravenously in Ambulatory and Ventilator-free Participants With Late-Onset Pompe Disease

Start date: June 21, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase I/II open-label, randomized, dose-escalation study will assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy of VAL-1221 versus Myozyme®/Lumizyme® in participants with late-onset glycogen storage disease-II (GSD-II) (Pompe disease)

NCT ID: NCT02898259 Terminated - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Lenalidomide, Ixazomib, and Rituximab as Front-Line Therapy for High Risk Indolent B-Cell Lymphoma

Start date: February 20, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Phase IB/II Trial of Lenalidomide (Revlimid®), Ixazomib and Rituximab (RIXAR) as Front-line Therapy for High Risk Indolent B cell Lymphoma

NCT ID: NCT02896816 Terminated - Parkinson Clinical Trials

EMG Modules as a Novel Biomarker of Basal Ganglia Plasticity in Parkinson's Disease

Start date: August 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Study Purpose: Parkinson's disease leads to severally impaired motor control. The purpose of this study is to better understand and analyze the characteristics of arm muscle activity while doing some reaching tasks and of leg muscles while walking. This will allow the investigators to improve understanding of the mechanisms underlying the motor impairments in Parkinson's disease.

NCT ID: NCT02895945 Terminated - Hemophilia A Clinical Trials

BAX 802 in CHA With Inhibitors

CHAWI
Start date: December 22, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of BAX 802 in males with congenital hemophilia A (CHA) with inhibitors who are undergoing major or minor elective surgical, dental, or other invasive procedures.

NCT ID: NCT02895503 Terminated - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
