NCT ID: NCT04083378 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Liver Neoplasm

Software-Aided Imaging (Morfeus) for Confirming Tumor Coverage With Ablation in Patients With Liver Tumors, the COVER-ALL Study

Start date: January 10, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well software-aided imaging works in confirming tumor coverage with ablation (the removal or destruction of a body part or tissue or its function) on patients with liver tumors. The current standard for targeting tumor cells and evaluating the outcome of a liver ablation procedure is a visual inspection of the pre- and post-procedure computed tomography (CT) scans. Software-aided imaging systems, such as Morfeus, may help to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of liver ablation.

NCT ID: NCT04082936 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

A Study of Imvotamab Monotherapy and in Combination in Subjects With Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Start date: September 30, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 1/2 study of imvotamab in adult subjects with relapsed or refractory B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. This study will consist of a dose-escalation stage, a combination stage, and a randomized dose-expansion stage where subjects will be enrolled into indication-specific expansion cohorts. imvotamab will be administered intravenously (IV). Additional CD20-positive NHL histologies (e.g. MZL and MCL), may be allowed with Medical Monitor approval during the Dose-Escalation Phase of the study.

NCT ID: NCT04082572 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Locally Advanced Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Pembrolizumab Before Surgery for the Treatment of Mismatch Repair Deficient Locally Advanced Solid Cancers

Start date: September 17, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well pembrolizumab works before surgery in treating patients with mismatch repair deficient solid cancers that have spread to nearby tissue or lymph nodes (locally advanced). Cancer is caused by changes (mutations) to genes (DNA) that control the way cells function, and some of these mutations can cause tumor cells to grow quickly and out of control. Microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) tumors are made up of cancer cells that have a greater than normal number of genetic markers called microsatellites. These cancers may have defects in the ability to correct mutations that occur when DNA is copied in the cell. Similarly, mismatch repair deficient tumors (dMMR) may have difficulty repairing some type of genetic mutation during cellular replication that may affect tumor's response to cancer therapy. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread.

NCT ID: NCT04082442 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Coronary Syndrome

Evolocumab in Patients With Acute MI

EVACS II
Start date: September 1, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Vascular and myocardial inflammation are significantly increased in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) patients, are closely correlated to LDL-C levels, and are associated with these adverse consequences in the post-ACS patient population. Serum proprotein convertase subtilisin/kerin type 9 (PCSK9) levels are also increased in ACS, may raise LDL-C, and the investigators' pre-clinical studies indicate that PCSK9 is also a potent inducer of vascular inflammation. The addition of the PCSK9 antibody evolocumab, currently approved to lower LDL-C in certain patient populations, to current medical therapies would appear to be of particular benefit in patients with an ACS by markedly reducing LDL-C, stabilizing vulnerable plaque, and limiting inflammation-associated myocardial cell loss and resultant dysfunction.

NCT ID: NCT04082429 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Haemophilia B Without Inhibitors

Research Study to Look at How Well the Drug Concizumab Works in Your Body if You Have Haemophilia Without Inhibitors

explorer8
Start date: November 13, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study will test how well a new medicine called concizumab works in the body of people with haemophilia A or B without inhibitors. The purpose is to show that concizumab can prevent bleeds in the body and is safe to use. Participants who usually only take medicine to treat bleeds (on-demand) will be placed in one of two groups. In one group participants will get study medicine from the start of the study. In the other group participants will continue with their normal medicine and get study medicine after 6 months. Which treatment the participant gets is decided by chance. Participants who usually take medicine to prevent bleeds (prophylaxis treatment) or who are already being treated with concizumab (study medicine) will receive the study medicine from the start of the study. Participants will have to inject themselves with the study medicine 1 time every day under the skin. This can be done at home. The study doctor will hand out the medicine in the form of a pen-injector. The pen-injector will contain the study medicine. The study will last for up to 6.5 years. The length of time the participant will be in the study depends on when they agreed to take part or when the medicine is available for purchase in their country (21 April 2026 at the latest). Participants will have to come to the clinic for up to 40 times. The time between visits will be approximately 4 weeks for the first 6 to 12 months depending on the group participants are in, and approximately 8 weeks for the rest of the study. If the participant attends extra visits due to the prescription medicine not being available for purchase in their country, these will be 14 weeks apart. Participants will be asked to record information in an electronic diary during the study and may also be asked to wear an activity tracker.

NCT ID: NCT04081688 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Atezolizumab and Varlilumab in Combination With Radiation Therapy for NSCLC

Start date: September 11, 2019
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the side effects of atezolizumab, varlilumab, and radiation therapy in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body (advanced) and cannot be removed by surgery (unresectable). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies such as atezolizumab may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies such as varlilumab may induce changes in body?s immune system and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Giving atezolizumab, varlilumab, and radiation therapy may increase the amount of time the disease is not active or does not spread to another part of the body.
