There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The focus of this study is to assess breast cancer survivors perspectives of Viveve® Treatment using patient reported outcome tools with a focus on symptoms associated with vulvovaginal atrophy/genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). This will be assessed by the FSFI, FSDS-R and DIVA questionnaires.
This is a single center exploratory imaging study investigating the initial application of zirconium-89 Deferoxamine B Certolizumab pegol (89Zr-DFO-CZP) PET in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Patients with active symptoms of RA or signs on physical exam will be invited to participate for PET imaging.
Frailty is a condition characterized by slowness, weakness, low physical activity, wasting, and exhaustion. Frailty increases the risk for adverse outcomes following transplant such as increased length of stay in the hospital, mortality, or graft function. No interventions for frailty are known for patients with renal disease, but exercise programs like pulmonary rehabilitation have been effective in improving frailty in patients with other diseases, such as lung disease. The goal of this study is to test whether exercise will also improve frailty among patients who are waiting for a kidney transplant and who are considered frail or pre-frail.
This is a prospective, randomized trial to evaluate the effectiveness of using educational modules accessed through a bedside tablet in patients newly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as an adjunct to *standard Children's Hospital- Molly Center diabetes education in comparison to *standard Children's Hospital- Molly Center diabetes education. (standard diabetes education consists of paper based reading material and nursing education).
This clinical trial is an open-label one-time injection dose study in which scAAV1.tMCK.NTF3 will be administered by intramuscular injections into muscles in both legs in CMT1A subjects with PMP22 gene duplication. Three subjects ages 18 to 35 years receiving (8.87e11 vg/kg) will be enrolled.
Type 2 diabetes is common, increases in prevalence with age, and patients with diabetes have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. A relatively new cardiovascular medication currently used for the treatment of heart failure in the United States inhibits an enzyme that breaks down a variety of signaling hormones. This clinical trial tests if it may also be a target for the treatment of diabetes by decreasing the breakdown of a hormone that increases insulin release after a meal.
This study is designed to characterize in detail the clinical, physiologic, and inflammatory features of Human Rhinovirus (HRV) infection in healthy volunteers without underlying lung disease while also evaluating the safety of HRV administrations.
The study evaluates the use of half-normal saline as an irrigant for open-irrigated catheters during left ventricular outflow tract ventricular arrhythmias ablation. By increasing the efficacy of radiofrequency energy-mediated lesion formation, half-normal saline has the potential to reduce procedural times and improved acute and long-term outcomes.
The main purpose of this study is to see if a device known as Transcranial Direct Current Stimulator (tDCS) is helpful in reducing persistent symptoms after Lyme disease treatment. Some of these symptoms include problems with memory, fatigue or pain.
The primary aim of this study is to determine whether spatiotemporal characteristics of multisensory evoked potentials can be used as a marker of consciousness (awareness) under anesthesia. The secondary aim is to characterize changes in the characteristics of evoked potentials under anesthesia in both single sensory modality (visual, auditory) and across sensory modalities.
