There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Moderately to severely depressed subjects will be randomized to the "Control Group," who will receive care as usual, or the "CBT Group," who will receive care as usual in addition to the manualized course of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
The purpose of this study is to compare the diagnostic accuracy of a novel endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) biopsy needle to the current standard EUS needle. The investigators hypothesize that with the SharkcoreTM needle a diagnostic yield of 90% is possible for subepithelial lesions (SEL) within the Gastrointestinal (GI) tract versus 60% yield with the current needle.
The goal of this project is to evaluate the nicotine induced acute cardiovascular changes in E-Cigarette users and also study the mechanism involved particularly with vascular impairment.
To define the long-term incidence and frequency of ISR follow DES implantation. Compare the clinical presentation, treatment and intervention success among de novo coronary artery stenosis and DES ISR. Compare short- and long-term outcomes of de novo coronary artery stenosis and DES ISR, assessed by incidence of mortality, MACE, MI, and TLR/TVR at index hospitalization, 30 days, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years, if available.
Neoadjuvant Vemurafenib and Cobimetinib in BRAF V600 Mutant Stage IIIB-C Melanoma • To evaluate the overall radiological complete response rate in patients with stage IIIB/C melanoma after 8 weeks of neoadjuvant vemurafenib and cobimetinib
This study tests the hypothesis that endogenous bradykinin contributes to effects of a combined angiotensin receptor blocker/neprilysin inhibitor (LCZ696 or Entresto)
This study will evaluate the ability of Expanded Natural Killer (ENK) cells to treat multiple myeloma when administered as part of a regimen consisting of Elotuzumab and a stem cell transplant. Natural killer cells are a special type of white blood cells that are already present in the body which have the ability to kill myeloma cells. In this study, natural killer cells will be collected and then treated in a laboratory to activate and 'expand' the number of cells to increase the dose and the anti-myeloma activity of the cells before they are transfused back into the subject. Elotuzumab is a protein drug approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for patients with previously treated multiple myeloma and works by activating natural killer cells already present in the body and targeting a protein called SLAMF7 which is present on both natural killer cells and myeloma cells. The investigators hope that administering Elotuzumab in combination with ENK cells will enhance the anti-myeloma activity of the ENK cells.
This is an observational, prospective and retrospective registry of patients with pancreatic cancer treated in Duke University Health System, which will examine patient and treatment effects on cancer outcomes.
The overall goal of doing this study is to improve long term patient function and outcomes in the healing rates of Rotator Cuffs. The investigators would also like to see if this method can be more cost effective and time efficient for Rotator Cuff evaluation during arthroscopy.
Fatigue is a major symptom in people with multiple sclerosis (MS), for which treatments are limited. Several studies have shown that a large proportion of men with MS have low testosterone levels. We propose a two-site clinical trial using topical testosterone gel as a treatment for MS-related fatigue in men with progressive MS who have low or low-normal testosterone levels.
