Start date: December 7, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the PK, safety and tolerability of PF-06687234 and [124I]IB-PF-06687234 (simultaneously given) in subjects with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease. The study used PET-CT scan imaging to assess the distribution of PF-06687234 and [124I]IB-PF-06687234 over 24 and 72 hours in colon (inflamed and non-inflamed), plasma, colon, liver, spleen, kidney and small intestine.

NCT ID: NCT03414450 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Blast Crisis (CML-BC, Ph+)

Evaluation of ETC-1907206 With Dasatinib in Advanced Haematologic Malignancies

Start date: April 25, 2018
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the use of ETC-1907206 in combination with dasatinib in certain types of blood cancers. The first phase of the study (1A) is designed to find the highest tolerated dose of ETC-1907206, while the second phase (1B) will assess the safety and tolerability of the recommended dose of ETC-1907206. ETC-1907206 has been designed to block the activity of an enzyme of the body known as Mnk kinase, which is thought to be involved in the development of a variety of cancers.

NCT ID: NCT03414307 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Intracerebral Hematoma

Stereotactic, Robot-assisted Intracerebral Hemorrhage Clot Evacuation

Start date: September 30, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Non-traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) affects approximately 100,000 Americans yearly. Up to 30-50% of ICH is fatal, and those patients who survive are often left with significant neurologic dysfunction. In the past, medical management (e.g., control of hypertension, reversal of antiplatelet or anticoagulants) had been the most effective treatment for these patients, given the morbidity and mortality associated with open surgical treatment for evacuation of ICH. However, recent trials have demonstrated that minimally invasive stereotactic neurosurgical procedures to evacuate ICH are safe and result in improved outcomes for these patients. Initial attempts to evaluate the efficacy of surgical evacuation of ICH found no significant difference between medical management and standard craniotomy for surgical evacuation. Indeed, open surgery was often discouraged for these patients due to the significant morbidity and mortality associated with the surgical procedure itself. However, research has demonstrated that minimally invasive, image guided stereotactic frame-based and frameless methods are effective and safe for the placement of catheters for clot aspiration and fibrinolytic therapy of ICH in the basal ganglia and other deep seated regions. Larger randomized controlled trials have demonstrated that these minimally invasive approaches also offer clinical benefit for these patients.

NCT ID: NCT03409783 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Chronic Low Back Pain

Enso Pilot Study for Chronic Low Back Pain

Start date: February 14, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Enso is a portable device for the treatment of chronic and acute types of musculoskeletal pain. This study is being designed as a single blind, sham-controlled randomized clinical trial.

NCT ID: NCT03409341 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Lung Cancer Stage IV

Personalizing Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy

Start date: February 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This prospective, observational study will evaluate whether vitro testing of tumor tissue and white blood cells from patients with lung cancer who are being treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors and other standard of care approaches, predicts clinical response to these agents.

NCT ID: NCT03408561 Withdrawn - Lymphoma Clinical Trials

Social Media Listening in Improving Clinical Trial Recruitment in Patients With Cancer

Start date: November 8, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies how well social media listening works in improving clinical trial recruitment in patients with cancer. Social media listening and recruitment on Twitter may enhance enrollment for cancer-related clinical trials.

NCT ID: NCT03406273 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Relapsed Neuroblastoma

Standardized Protocol of Surgery and Radiation for Patients With Brain Metastases in Relapsed Neuroblastoma

Start date: May 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

HITC001 is a single institution study to evaluate the efficacy of using a standardized protocol of surgery and radiation for patients with brain metastases in relapsed neuroblastoma.

NCT ID: NCT03406195 Withdrawn - Aging Clinical Trials

Modulation of Episodic Memory Using Theta Burst Stimulation (TBS)

Start date: December 15, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to evaluate the effect of white matter guided theta burst stimulation on episodic memory task performance in healthy older adults. The investigators aim to propagate the effect of theta burst stimulation from a superficial locus of stimulation (angular gyrus) to hippocampus and parahippocampal regions using white matter tract connection between these regions. Study activities and population group - for the study plans to recruit 20 healthy older adults who already have white matter scans acquired as part of another study performed by the Cabeza Lab at Duke University. Using tractography the exact site of stimulation on the cortical surface will be localized. An initial motor evoked potential (MEP) assessment will differentiate responders to theta burst stimulation from non responders. Responders will receive 1200 pulses of intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) or sham stimulation to the angular gyrus while they perform the encoding portion of an episodic memory task. There after, they will perform retrieval piece of the task and data analysis will compare these performances.

NCT ID: NCT03402880 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Carcinoma

ALCMI-005: Pembrolizumab and Epacadostat in Treating Patients With Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: December 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well pembrolizumab and epacadostat work in combination treating patients with extensive stage small cell lung cancer. Monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may assist the immune system in recognizing cancer cells leading to elimination of those cells. Epacadostat may prevent down-regulation of T-cells, which means it can boost the immune system. Giving pembrolizumab and epacadostat together may work better than either drug alone in treating extensive stage small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03402789 Withdrawn - Amblyopia Clinical Trials

Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) Supplementation in Amblyopia

Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the addition of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to eye patching in the treatment of residual amblyopia in children ages 3 to 18 years old. Two thirds of participants will receive DHA along with eye patching, while one third of participants will receive a placebo along with eye patching.
