There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
While eating disorders in males are often overlooked, up to 7 million men in the United States will experience an eating disorder in their lifetime. Critically, men are less likely to seek treatment for an eating disorder compared to women. Therefore, prevention programs that target male-specific eating disorder risk factors prior to the development of an eating or appearance-related disorder are crucial in reducing eating disorders in this population. Preliminary work by our group established the initial efficacy of a novel program, the Body Project: More than Muscles (MTM) compared to assessment-only control. This study will replicate and extend this research by comparing MTM to a time and attention matched control used in previous eating disorder prevention work, media advocacy (MA).
Prospective, multi-center, non-randomized, open-label, post-market clinical study evaluating adipose graft retention over time from lipoaspirate processed using the AuraGen 1-2-3™ with AuraClens™ Lipoaspirate Wash System.
Cancer-related cognitive dysfunction (CRCD) affects up to 75% of patients receiving chemotherapy and older adults are at greater risk of developing CRCD, which can negatively affect their functional independence and quality of life. Memory and Attention Adaptation Training-Geriatrics (MAAT-G) is a cognitive behavioral therapy-based intervention tailored specifically for older adults and the feasibility of MAAT-G in older cancer survivors with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is being evaluated.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate progression-free survival (PFS) by blinded independent central review (BICR) in patients treated with intermittent regimen of relacorilant in combination with nab-paclitaxel compared with patients treated with nab-paclitaxel monotherapy.
Given that there is a significant prevalence of Lynch syndrome among patients with endometrial cancer (about 5% of patients with endometrial cancer), and given there is a known risk of endometrial cancer among patients with endometrial hyperplasia (40% risk of pre-existing occult cancer with endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia), it is hypothesized that a diagnosis of endometrial hyperplasia may herald on-going risk of harboring a Lynch Syndrome gene mutation. The purpose of this study is to examine endometrial hyperplasia specimens and compare the frequency of Lynch Syndrome gene mutations between endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial cancer subjects. This will provide a rationale and opportunity for earlier screening, and reduce colon cancer morbidity and mortality secondary to the Lynch syndrome gene.
The purpose of this study is to determine if concentrations of hormones in prepared human milk (HM) feeds are associated with metabolic disturbances in the recipient premature infant. To do so, prospectively 100 infants receiving HM-derived fortifiers as part of clinical care will be studied, saving aliquots of daily prepared feeds until any fortification ceases.
Multi-center, three-arm, randomized, evaluator-blinded study of electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) and/or 1064 nm diode laser, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) and vacuum assisted radio frequency (RF) using the Venus Bliss Max for fat reduction, body contouring and aesthetic improvement.
This a multicenter, Phase 2b, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study to provide data on efficacy and safety of LY3561774 administered subcutaneously at various doses in participants with mixed dyslipidemia and on a stable dose of a statin.
More than 30,000 Veterans are hospitalized for stroke each year, and in the critical first months of recovery, at least half are disabled by abnormal 3-D spatial function (spatial neglect). Their self-care, mobility, and ability to return home are severely limited.
The primary objective of the study is to estimate the antitumor efficacy of nanrilkefusp alfa in combination with pembrolizumab in selected tumors.
