NCT ID: NCT05384951 Active, not recruiting - Cerebral Palsy Clinical Trials

HMB Cerebral Palsy Pilot Study

Start date: May 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a pilot study of β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate (HMB) + Vitamin D3 supplementation in adolescents with cerebral palsy. The primary objective is to quantify safety, compliance, and acceptability of daily combined HMB + Vitamin D3 supplementation for 12 weeks in adolescents with CP. The secondary objective is to quantify changes in lower extremity muscle mass, strength, and functional mobility after daily combined HMB + Vitamin D3 supplementation for 12 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT05384899 Active, not recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) - COVID-19 Protocol

Start date: June 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Since its inception, KPMP has developed sophisticated protocols for collection and analysis of human kidney tissue, and for collection of biofluids. Members of the consortium have wide-ranging expertise in conducting clinical studies, processing kidney tissue, advanced structural and molecular analysis and complex bioinformatics analysis, which will be used to leverage effectively as a group to better understand kidney disease. This joint protocol aims to synergize the COVID-19 study efforts of KPMP academic research centers, to collectively study COVID-19, including its renal presentation using kidney tissue and/or biofluids from patients suffering from COVID-19. This will increase the breadth and depth of data available to the public to expedite discoveries, identify therapeutics, and improve outcomes for patients with COVID-19. It will additionally bring the expertise of KPMP investigators to bear against this pandemic.

NCT ID: NCT05384262 Active, not recruiting - Dyslipidemia Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of AZD0780 in Healthy Subjects

Start date: May 18, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of AZD0780 following single and multiple dose administration to healthy subjects with or without elevated Low-Density Lipoprotein-Cholesterol (LDL-C) levels. This study will consist of two parts (Parts A and B). 56 subjects have been planned for Part A and 141 subjects for Part B. Additional subjects may be included for the optional cohorts depending upon emerging data.

NCT ID: NCT05384249 Active, not recruiting - Uveitis Clinical Trials

Phase 2b Pivotal Study of Izokibep in Non-infectious, Intermediate-, Posterior- or Pan-uveitis

Start date: August 23, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Izokibep is a small protein molecule that acts as a selective, potent inhibitor of interleukin-17A, to which it binds with high affinity. This study investigates izokibep in subjects with active non-infectious, intermediate-, posterior- or pan-uveitis requiring high-dose steroids.

NCT ID: NCT05383976 Active, not recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

A Feasibility Study to Improve Colorectal Cancer Screening Among Racially Diverse Zip Codes in a Persistent Poverty County Using Navigation and Machine Learning Predictive Algorithms

PCSNaP
Start date: February 13, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overarching goals of the "PCSNaP" Research Study is to support the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC) of the University of Pennsylvania in carrying out its mission to increase colorectal cancer (CRC) screening completion among high-risk individuals living in a persistent poverty county by designing, conducting, disseminating and evaluating an electronic health record-based automated identification program to target effective, culturally-sensitive CRC screening navigation to individuals who have not completed an ordered colonoscopy or fecal immunochemical test (FIT).

NCT ID: NCT05383170 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Breast Cancer

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of CyPep-1 in Combination With Pembrolizumab for the Treatment of Advanced or Metastatic Cancers

Catalyst
Start date: March 21, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase 1b/2a study will assess the efficacy, safety, and pharmacodynamics of CyPep-1 when administered directly into measurable tumor lesions in combination with the anti-PD-1 antibody pembrolizumab. Additionally, the study will assess anti-tumor effects of CyPep-1 on injected lesions and non-injected target lesions identified at baseline, as well as local and systemic immunological effects of CyPep-1 in combination with pembrolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT05382637 Active, not recruiting - Growth Disorders Clinical Trials

Growth Hormone in a Patient With a Dominant-Negative GHR Mutation

Start date: August 26, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective interventional study designed for a single patient with a dominant-negative mutation in the growth hormone receptor gene (GHR) which results in increased levels of growth hormone binding protein (GHBP). The patient will receive escalating doses of growth hormone titrated to achieve an insulin like growth factor-1 level above the mean and then growth response to therapy will be monitored.
