NCT ID: NCT04708314 Terminated - Clinical trials for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

An Open-Label Study of Golodirsen in Non-Ambulant Patients With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Start date: October 31, 2020
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of golodirsen injection in Non-ambulant DMD patients with confirmed genetic mutations amenable to treatment by exon 53 skipping (Golodirsen). Golodirsen 30 mg/kg will be administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion over approximately 35 to 60 minutes once a week during the treatment period (up to 96 weeks). After the treatment period, patients can go into a safety extension period (not to exceed 48 weeks) until the patient is able to transition to commercially available drug or a separate golodirsen study. Safety will be regularly assessed throughout the study via the collection of adverse events (AEs), laboratory tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms (ECHOs), vital signs, and physical examinations. Exploratory assessments, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs), upper extremity testing, and other measurements of functional status, will occur at functional assessment visits every 12 weeks over the first year of treatment and approximately every 24 weeks over the second year of treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04707703 Terminated - Clinical trials for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2

Isavuconazole for the Prevention of COVID-19-associated Pulmonary Aspergillosis

Isavu-CAPA
Start date: March 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of this study is to evaluate whether antifungal prophylaxis with isavuconazole can reduce the incidence of SARS-CoV-2-associated invasive aspergillosis in patients in the ICU (intensive care unit) with severe COVID-19 infection. The investigators will perform an interventional, double-blinded, randomized-controlled, multi-center study in patients with severe COVID-19 infection admitted to the ICU. Patients will be randomized to the isavuconazole prophylaxis plus standard of care (SOC) group or the placebo plus SOC group. Participants will receive isavuconazole or placebo for up to 28 days or until discharge from the hospital (whichever occurs first).

NCT ID: NCT04707625 Terminated - Clinical trials for Retinal Vein Occlusion

Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Levels in Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO) During Anti-VEGF Treatment

Start date: October 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to treat patients with retinal vein occlusion with standard of care anti-vascular endothelial growth factor therapy and to correlate levels of vascular endothelial growth factor in the anterior chamber fluid of the eye. This study will evaluate if measuring the vascular endothelial growth factor will help predict the timing of when anti-vascular endothelial growth factor therapy will be needed.

NCT ID: NCT04707157 Terminated - Clinical trials for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain

Chronic Pain Master Protocol (CPMP): A Study of LY3556050 in Participants With Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathic Pain

Start date: May 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is being done to test the safety and efficacy of the study drug LY3556050 for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain. This trial is part of the chronic pain master protocol (H0P-MC-CPMP) which is a protocol to accelerate the development of new treatments for chronic pain.

NCT ID: NCT04706520 Terminated - Body Composition Clinical Trials

Chronic Consumption of Vinegar on Visceral Adiposity in Overweight Adults (VAnish)

VAnish
Start date: February 10, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To assess, relative to a placebo, the effects of consuming 400 mL/day or 200 mL/day of a vinegar beverage providing either 1,500 mg/day of acetic acid (in two 200 mL doses daily) or 750 mg/day of acetic acid (in one 200 mL dose daily), respectively, for 12 weeks on VAT (MRI). Thus the 2 active comparator arms 400 mL and 200 mL of vinegar will be independently tested compared to placebo.

NCT ID: NCT04705597 Terminated - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of BGE-175 in Hospitalized Adults With Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) That Are Not in Respiratory Failure

Start date: March 18, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of BGE-175 in participants ≥ 50 years of age hospitalized with documented COVID-19.

NCT ID: NCT04705051 Terminated - Clinical trials for Congenital Cystic Kidney Disease

Long-term Treatment of Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) With Venglustat

STAGED-PKD-EXT
Start date: February 9, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Primary Objective: -To determine the effect of early versus delayed treatment with venglustat on the total kidney volume (TKV) in participants at risk of rapidly progressive autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). Secondary Objective: - To determine the effect of early versus delayed treatment with venglustat on the renal function (estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR] [Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration {CKD-EPI} equation]). - To characterize the safety profile of venglustat. - To evaluate the effect of venglustat on the lens by ophthalmological examination. - To evaluate the effect of venglustat on mood using Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II).

NCT ID: NCT04705025 Terminated - Clinical trials for Anatomic Stage III Breast Cancer AJCC v8

Cognitive-Behavioral Stress Management Device for the Treatment of Anxiety and Depressive Symptoms in Patients With Stage I-III Breast or Lung Cancer

BNT001
Start date: April 8, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies the effect of a digital application (app), BNT001, on cognitive-behavioral stress management in patients with stage I-III breast or lung cancer. The app is designed for cancer patients to treat anxiety and depressive symptoms related to their cancer diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to develop and refine procedures for eligibility screening, suicide risk assessment, and delivery of the app prior to the launch of a phase III randomized trial. The impact of the app in managing stress and improving quality of life and mood is a secondary aim.
