The purpose of this study is to find out the changes in the measurable parameters of the dynamic and static position of the foot, caused by the tibialis posterior muscle which is activated by the fatigue protocol. The study includes 30 healthy patients whose socio-demographic and descriptive characteristics are held. The changes in the dynamic and static position of foot were measured by pedobarography whereas the level of fatigue was measured by Borg Fatigue Scale.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the preoperative anxiety of the surgeons.100 surgeons consisted of performing operations in general surgery, obstetric and gynecology , orthopedic surgery ,ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, cardiovascular surgery, pediatric surgery and neurosurgery will be participated in the study. Surgeons will be chosen from the specialist doctor, assistant doctor, doctor lecturer, associate professor and professors.15 minutes prior to the first elective operation of the day, salivary cortisol samples will be taken from the surgeons and they will be asked to fill the evaluation form and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory Form (STAI).
During surgery, researchers use different methods in respiratory equipment. In the study researchers examine the effects of these methods on intraocular pressure changes by looking at the intraocular nerve diameter. Then look at the effects of these effects on patients conscious functions by asking some questions.
Venous thromboembolism (VTE), clinically seen as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE), is the third most common acute cardiovascular syndrome after myocardial infarction and stroke. In a study conducted by critical care and emergency physicians, lung ultrasonography (US) for pleural infarction areas, lower extremity venous US in terms of DVT, and focused cardiac US in terms of right ventricular strain were demonstrated with different diagnostic values for PE. However, no ultrasonographic method alone has a high diagnostic value for PE alone in the literature. In a recent study, it is stated that a new cardiac finding (early systolic notch- ESN) has high sensitivity (92%) and specificity (99%) in massive and submassive emboli. However, the limited patient population and the exclusion of many patient groups limits the applicability of the study and its use in other patient groups. With this study, it was aimed to determine the diagnostic value of ESN finding within the emergency department conditions by keeping the patient population wider.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a complex neurodegenerative autoimmune disease. People with MS (PwMS) have low quality of life (QoL) and activities of daily living (ADL). Exercise is a safe and effective rehabilitation tool for PwMS. A structured and personalized exercise program can improve physical fitness, functional capacity, quality of life and modifiable disorders in PwMS. On the other hand, Telerehabilitation is an alternative rehabilitation method in PwMS. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of exercise programs and telerehabilitation on ADL and QoL in PwMS, and compare the effects of supervised exercise and home-based exercise programs for the PwMS.
The use of bilateral total knee replacements (TKR) is increasing with the number of patients with bilateral end-stage knee osteoarthritis. Bilateral TKR can be performed in three different ways: single-stage, two-team simultaneous bilateral TKR (two surgeons bilateral TKR); single-stage, a sequential bilateral TKR (single surgeon bilateral TKR); and two-stage bilateral TKR. Periprosthetic joint (PJI) infections are serious complications after TKR that negatively affect the aimed outcome, decrease patient satisfaction, and increase morbidity and mortality. The incidence of PJI is 1-2% and the number of cases is projected to grow as the indications for TKR continue to increase. Investigators will prospectively compare the incidence of periprosthetic joint infection between groups.
A recent systematic review reported that the prevalence of enteral nutrition intolerance in critically ill patients ranged from 2% to 75%, and the pooled rate was 38.3%.Many randomized controlled trials have reported that the incidence of pneumonia, regurgitation and aspiration do not correlate well with gastric residual volume (GRV) monitoring. In addition, it was reported that GRV monitoring may cause more frequent obstructions in the enteral tube access, leading to greater loss of time for intensive care unit nurses and patients receiving less than the prescribed daily intake due to enteral nutrition interruptions. The most recent SCCM/ASPEN guidelines in 2016 recommended that GRV monitoring not be included in the daily care protocol, but many institutions still use it to determine whether to continue enteral nutrition or to detect enteral tube-feeding intolerance. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between ultrasonographic gastric antral measurements and aspirated gastric residual volume GRV in mechanically ventilated critically ill patients receiving enteral tube feeding via nasogastric, orogastric, or percutaneous gastrostomy tubes.
Critically ill patients with COVID-19 have hospitalized in an ICU due to the closer monitoring and therapy. In fact, ICU admissions are dependent on the severity of illness and the ICU capacity of the health-care system. Hence, it may be need a new scoring system for contagious critically ill patients.
Aims and objectives: This study aimed to determine the effect of music therapy on procedural pain intensity and anxiety and comfort levels in patients during cystoscopy. Background: Cystoscopy is a procedure that is commonly performed as day surgery in urology clinics in order to diagnose lower urinary tract system symptoms as well as to diagnose and follow up tumors associated with the lower urinary system. During cystoscopy, which is an invasive intervention, individuals may experience pain and anxiety, and their comfort may be negatively affected. Methods: This study was a prospective, randomized controlled trial. Study participants were randomly assigned to either a control or music group. The outcome measures were assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale, State Anxiety Scale, and General Comfort Questionnaire. This report followed the CONSORT checklist.
