The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is an association between covid infection and menstrual cycle changes.
Bell's palsy (idiopathic facial palsy) is the most common peripheral lesion of the cranial nerves and the most common mono-neuropathy. Therapeutic ultrasound (US) is among the commonly used physical modalities for treating musculoskeletal disorders. A randomised clinical trial in a single centre.The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of kinesio taping and breathing exercises on pain management applied after benign gynecological abdominal operations. A total of 132 women, divided into 4 groups of 33 subjects each, were included.Women underwent gynecological abdominal operation were assigned to the groups randomly, depending on the application of two different methods of kinesio taping and breathing exercise.In randomization, a table of numbers was created, and an equal number of women were assigned to groups with four block patterns. Using kinesio taping and breathing exercise, 33 women were included in kinesio taping group (1st Group), 33 in breathing exercise group (2nd Group), and 33 in kinesio taping + breathing exercise group (3rd Group). No intervention was applied to the women in the control group (4th Group). Pain levels of women were evaluated with Visual Analog Scale (VAS) before and after administration of the interventions.

The necessity for early detection and hence improving the outcome of treatment of pneumonia is critical especially SARS-CoV-2 induced cases. This work was designed to evaluate the potential application of measuring circulating epigenetic markers namely, miR-744, miR-24, miR-124, miR-155, miR-19a, miR-122, miR-21, miR-223, let-7f, miR-146, miR-196, miR-136, P13-K, miR-9 expression, and DNA methylation profiling of the ACE2, TMPRSS2, PARP, HOX1 genes in Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) due to SARS-CoV-2 with/without pneumonia and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) patients as an attempt to evaluate the potential benefits of these new circulating, prognostic, epigenetic markers for Turkish patients.
Systemic sclerosis [SSc]; is a multisystem disease characterized by immune activation, microvascular disease and fibroblast dysfunction, which is thought to occur as a result of complex and not fully understood interaction between genetic and environmental factors, leading to fibrotic changes in the skin and some internal organs. It is characterized by the deposition of collagen and other matrix components in the skin and some internal organs. It has been shown by evaluating the health assessment questionnaire that it causes disability with increasing frequency over time. Although pain cannot be localized too well to be attributed to a particular anatomical area, there are several musculoskeletal pain syndromes that can be detected in patients with systemic sclerosis. These are tendonitis, polyarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis and fibromyalgia. While there are several studies on others, the relationship between fibromyalgia syndrome and SSc is not known clearly. As with other connective tissue diseases, fibromyalgia is not considered to be rare in SSc.
The adverse effects of rheumatologic diseases, especially Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), on sexual functions are known. The causes of sexual dysfunction in rheumatologic diseases are due to factors such as pain, weakness, fatigue, stiffness, functional disability, anxiety, depression, hormonal deficiency, drug use, decreased libido and poor body image. Depending on these factors, sexual intercourse and frequency of sexual intercourse may decrease. Sexual dysfunction may be seen in AS due to physical and emotional problems caused by the disease.
This is an open-label, multicenter, parallel-group, randomized, phase III trial that evaluates the efficacy and safety of hydroxychloroquine and favipiravir in the treatment of patients with possible or confirmed COVID-19 observed within the last 5 days. 1000 patients will be randomized in 2:1:2:2:2:1 ratio and divided into six groups.
