There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Covid-19 also primarily affects endothelium that line up the alveoli. The resulting hypoxemia may differ from "typical" Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) due to maldistribution of perfusion related to the ventilation. Thus, pathophysiology of Covid-19 ARDS is different, which requires different interventions than typical ARDS. The investigators will assess whether extravascular lung water index and permeability of the alveolar capillary differs from typical ARDS with transpulmonary thermodilution (TPTD) technique. Extravascular Lung Water Index (EVLWI) and Pulmonary Vascular Permeability Index (PVPI) will be compared.
Objective: It is recommended to heat and humidify CO2 in laparoscopic surgery to prevent postoperative pain and hypothermia but information about its effects on hemodynamic and respiratory parameters is limited. The investigators aimed to investigate the effects of standard and heated-humidified CO2 on hemodynamic and respiratory parameters. Study design: One hundred patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy for benign pathology were divided into two groups: Group CD (cold-dry) patients were administered standard CO2, while Group HH (heated-humidified) patients were administered 95% humidified insufflation at 37°C. Hemodynamic and respiratory parameters, body temperature, pain score and blood count parameters were recorded.
The investigators planned to measure the effectiveness of laparoscopic pectopexy in apical prolapse and whether the addition of sacrouterine ligaments plication to pectopexy increases the effectiveness of pectopexy operation. Investigators planned to measure patients' quality of life using the female sexual function scale test 3, 6 and 12 months after the surgery and to determine how the operation affects the quality of sexual life.
The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is a relationship between echocardiographic measurements regarding closure of PDA and serum D-Dimer and Fibrinogen levels in premature infants born before 32nd gestational week and weighing less than 1500 grams.
The main purpose of our study is to investigate the effects of exercise therapy on upper extremity functions in patients receiving radiotherapy to the axillary region after breast cancer surgery.
Despite prophylactic anticoagulant treatments, thrombotic complications may develop in patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This study aimed to evaluate anti-Factor Xa levels to determine the anticoagulant activity of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) in COVID-19 patients.
The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy of CGF and Ozone in the treatment of alveolitis and to develop a new treatment protocol that can enable a quick and effective solution of this clinical problem, which significantly affects patients' comfort of life.
Kangaroo care is a developmental care method determined to improve the quality of life of premature babies. When the benefits of kangaroo care on development and feeding with breast milk on premature babies are considered, term babies should also receive kangaroo care, and kangaroo care should be started immediately after birth. In this research, the authors aimed to investigate the effect of kangaroo care at birth on breast milk only feeding status and infant growth and development according to attachment theory. This is a randomized controlled, experimental, prospective study. The sample of the study consisted of pregnant women between 36-38 gestational weeks, who referred to the pregnant outpatient clinic of Buca Maternity and Children Hospital between March 2017 and February 2019 (n: 132). Pregnant women in the intervention group received "kangaroo care and breastfeeding training," and their babies were given kangaroo care at birth. Routine care was given to the mothers and their babies in the control group. Maternal attachment levels of mothers in both groups after birth and infants' breastfeeding only status and infant growth and development in the first, third, sixth, and ninth months were evaluated.
The relationship between arthroplasty and low back pain in orthopedists will be evaluated.
The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy of greater occipital nerve block and cervical injections with lidocaine
