There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
A nursing visit is a method used for psychological preparation and information of patients. During nursing visits, the operating room nurse visits the patient before the surgery, informs the patient about the surgical process and nursing care practices and gives education. Additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D printing (3DP) technologies have advanced significantly in many different areas. With the time and cost advantage it provides in low-volume production, 3D printing technologies also come to the fore in the field of digital dentistry. A tooth-coloured, ceramic-filled permanent resin has been introduced by the manufacturer for the 3D fabrication of permanent single crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays. The aim of this clinical study was to clinically evaluate the long-term survival and intraoral performance of 3D-printed permanent resin. to the ICDAS caries classification system, 20 volunteers between the ages of 18-65 with class II caries lesion at D1 or D2 level were included in this study. Restorations were checked 1 week (baseline) and 6 months after completion and scored using the Modified Ryge Criteria (USPHS2(United States Public Health Service)). Statistical analysis was done by Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.
It was aimed to determine the effect of virtual reality glasses application on anxiety and fatigue in women with breast cancer receiving adjuvant chemotherapy.
This study was planned to evaluate the effect of back massage applied to palliative care patients on sleep quality and pain.
This study was conducted as a randomized controlled experimental study to determine the effect of singing or playing melodica activity applied to chronic obstructive pulmonary patients on symptoms, self-efficacy level, and exercise capacity of patients.
ABSTRACT Purpose: This research was done for the purpose of determining the impact of breast milk smell administered to term infants hospitalized in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) due to physiological jaundice on their bilirubin levels, length of remaining in phototherapy and comfort. Material and Method: It is an experimental, randomisation, controlled research. Target population of the research consisted of a total of 72 term infants who were hospitalized in the NICU of Bilecik Bozuyuk Public Hospital and met the sample selection criteria. Our research includes two groups. Breast milk smell group and control group. The infants were assigned to the groups via randomization method. Sample assignment to the groups was performed using stratification and blocking methods. The infants meeting the research sample selection criteria were stratified according to their postnatal age and then assigned to each group equally (blocking) by lot. However, two infants in the control group were excluded from the research at the request of their parents as the research continued. Thus, the research was completed with a total of 72 infants; 37 in the breast milk smell group and 35 in the control group. In the research, the data were collected using "Personal Data Collection Form", "Phototherapy Follow-up Chart" and "Neonatal Comfort Behavior Scale". The data were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) 21.0 (IBM corp. Relased 2012. IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, version 21.0 Armonk, NY: IBM corp.) package software.
This study aims to compare the acute effects of different kinesiology tapes on pain, functional performance and trunk endurance in young adults with chronic low back pain. Seventy young adults with chronic low back pain between the ages of 18-40 were included in our study. The individuals included in our study were divided into two groups by a simple randomization method. Star-shaped kinesiology taping was applied to the 1st group, and I-shaped kinesiology taping was applied to the 2nd group. The demographic and physical characteristics of the individuals who agreed to participate in the study were recorded. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) to evaluate pain before taping, immediately after taping and 4 days after taping, Oswestry low back pain disability scale (OLBPDS) to assess disability level, Lumbar Flexion Repeat Speed Test, Sit-and-Stand Test to evaluate functional performance in both groups. Biering Sorenson Test was applied to evaluate the forward bending test with weight and trunk endurance.
Environmentally conscious hospitals plan their designs as green hospitals and aim to use resources efficiently. Green buildings are defined as buildings that respect nature, are ecological, comfortable and reduce energy consumption. The aim of our study is to investigate the awareness level and satisfaction of the employees of a small private hospital in the city center without a "green hospital" certificate regarding the "green hospital" elements.
